Episode Description
In this episode of The P.A.S. Report, Professor Nick Giordano exposes who’s to blame for America’s collapsing infrastructure and broken trade policies that have left America weakened. This despite trillions spent. From FAA radar blackouts and floppy disk-era technology to lopsided trade deals and slush funds, it’s clear the political class is more interested in serving special interests than fixing what’s broken. As politicians transferred billions of dollars overseas to build 21st-century airports, roads, and walls to protect foreign nations, our own skies remain unsafe and they have allowed our border to remain wide open. This episode breaks it all down with sharp analysis, real numbers, and unapologetic truth.
Episode Highlights:
- Trump – Starmer trade agreement signals a shift toward rebalancing decades of failed global economic policies.
- The shocking state of FAA infrastructure: radar outages, copper wires, and eBay-sourced parts.
- Remember former President Biden’s $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill? Where the money really went, and why most of it had nothing to do with infrastructure.

America’s Collapsing Infrastructure and Failed Trade Policy: Who’s to Blame?
The American people were promised modernized infrastructure. What we got instead was a bloated $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill filled with special interest payouts, DEI-driven slush funds, and pet projects that do nothing to improve daily life for the average citizen.
Meanwhile, our skies are increasingly dangerous. In just the last few weeks, Newark Airport experienced multiple radar blackouts. The FAA still operates with 50-year-old systems, some using floppy disks. When parts break, they turn to eBay. That’s not a joke. It’s reality.
In this episode of The P.A.S. Report Podcast, I break down the decades of failure by both parties that led to this moment. We’ve spent trillions with no measurable return on investment. And now, while American infrastructure crumbles, politicians fund “infrastructure” programs in foreign countries while ignoring our own.
This episode also covers the new U.S.-UK trade agreement between President Trump and Prime Minister Keir Starmer. While the deal marks a step in the right direction, it’s a reminder of just how long we allowed failed trade policies to undermine our economy. Deals originally designed to win allies during the Cold War now empower our adversaries. China, chief among them. And we’ve let it happen for over two decades.
We need to stop pretending that more spending equals better results. It doesn’t. Not when the people in charge are more interested in virtue signaling than securing radar systems or modernizing airports.
This isn’t just about infrastructure. It’s about priorities. It’s about leadership. And it’s about restoring some basic competence to a government that has lost its way.
