[Intro Transcript]
Hello everyone, and welcome to The P.A.S. Report Podcast. I’m your host, Professor Nick Giordano. Be sure to subscribe and follow the podcast so you never miss an episode. Also, visit The P.A.S. Report website at https://pasreport.com. And I encourage you to share this podcast with your family and friends. We talk about a lot of important issues on this podcast and this week is no different.
Biden Pardons Hunter
But before I jump into the main topic for this episode, there are two things I want to talk about briefly. The first is President Biden and his pardon of his son, Hunter Biden. This should not serve as a shock to anyone. And if you are a regular listener to this podcast, you know I said he would pardon his son on multiple occasions.
Now, everyone seems to be making a big fuss about the pardon, but you have to pick your battles. You cannot feign outrage at every little thing, and not for nothing, but as a father, I would have done the same thing. The only difference is I would have done it a lot sooner.
I get that Biden lied. I get the double standards as Biden pardons Hunter, and I also get the fact that this pardon was also to protect the Big Guy himself. I’m not justifying it. It isn’t right, and it is completely unethical, but I am not going to get all worked up over it. I also don’t suspect that this is going to be the last Biden to get a pardon. He will probably pardon his brother, and maybe even himself, on his last day in office. Sure, he will do it under the guise that he doesn’t want his family to be targeted by the Trump DOJ, but it’s really about protecting the Biden family.
Remember, the left always projects, and in this case, it’s no different. They are such hypocrites. They’re screaming that if his last name wasn’t Biden, he wouldn’t have been prosecuted. That’s obviously a lie. How many people do you know can get away with tax evasion? How many people do you know that can lie on a federal form and not get prosecuted?
And let’s be honest. If Trump wasn’t Trump we wouldn’t have seen Letitia James go after the Trump organization. We wouldn’t have seen E Jean Carroll work with the New York State Legislature to temporarily suspend the statute of limitations so she could bring a civil suit against Trump. We wouldn’t have seen the Mar-a-Lago FBI raid. We wouldn’t have seen the 4 criminal cases. So to all you on the left, spare me your righteous indignation.
The good news is that Hunter Biden can no longer invoke his Fifth Amendment right to remain silent. Remember, the Fifth Amendment allows us to refuse to answer questions on the grounds of self-incrimination.
Well, now that Hunter Biden is pardoned, he can no longer incriminate himself, and so, it will be interesting to see if Congress subpoenas Hunter to testify or if they will turn the page on the Biden family business. In any event, I think the American people deserve answers, and we deserve to know how the Biden family got rich off the backs of the American taxpayers. We deserve to know about the Biden family business and the extent of foreign influence. These aren’t trivial matters, and it’s up to Congress to ensure we get answers.
Kash Patel as FBI Director
The second thing I wanted to mention briefly was President Trump’s announcement of Kash Patel as FBI Director. Of course, I interviewed George Hill two days before this announcement. I would have loved to ask him about this on the podcast, but Monday’s episode was a great one nonetheless so check it out.
The Kash pick was a great choice, and now, the current FBI Director Christopher Wray has to make a decision. Either he resigns when Trump takes office, or he gets fired.
Wray has always been useless and someone who is more intent on protecting the swamp, as opposed to ensuring the FBI lives up to its mission and demonstrates the highest level of integrity. Kash needs to clean house at the FBI, and I can only imagine the reaction of those on the seventh floor of the J. Edgar Hoover building to Trump’s announcement of Kash Patel as FBI Director.
It seems all the right people are mad that President Trump selected Kash Patel as FBI Director. They are losing their minds, and it is glorious to witness, especially the meltdowns of McCabe, Brennan, and Comey.
Patel needs to immediately release all the Russian collusion documents that Trump declassified at the end of his first term. He needs to see how deep the political weaponization of the FBI goes, and he needs to terminate anyone who puts ideology ahead of the public service. The FBI has been operating with impunity for decades, and it is time that comes to an end. It has nothing to do with retribution and everything to do with accountability.
But understand, there are a lot of forces that will do whatever it takes to prevent Kash Patel from becoming FBI Director, and his confirmation hearings may make Justice Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearings look like a cakewalk.
And this brings me to today’s topic. Today, I want to focus on the Biden administration’s war on Christians. It’s something that has been going on for a while now, but it has been largely ignored by the media. I’ll talk about what’s going on when we get back from this quick break. So, everyone hang tight and we will be right back.

The Biden Administration’s War on Christians
Welcome back to The P.A.S. Report Podcast. Before the break, we dove into the headlines with the announcement that President Biden pardons Hunter. We also talked about President Trump’s bold pick of Kash Patel as the next FBI Director. But now, I want to shift gears to the main topic of today’s episode, and this topic hits at the very heart of America’s identity.
The Leadership Institute’s Campus Reform published an article a couple of days ago that outlined how the Biden administration has declared war on Christian colleges and universities. In full disclosure, I am a Campus Reform Higher Education Fellow, but today I am speaking to you as the host of this podcast.
Campus Reform reported the chilling statistics which reveal just how targeted Christian institutions have become. Faith-based schools represent less than 10% of the student population nationwide, yet nearly 70% of the penalties imposed by the Department of Education’s Office of Enforcement have been aimed squarely at these institutions. The fines levied against Christian schools average $815,000 – three times higher than the $228,571 average imposed on secular institutions.
Why the discrepancy? Because this administration has made it clear: Christian schools that dare to stand against the leftist agenda will be punished. Let’s not dance around the facts. Education Secretary Miguel Cardona has even gone as far as to suggest that he’d like to see these institutions shut down altogether.
But this isn’t just about a few fines or penalties. It’s about the intent behind these actions. The Biden administration is wielding its power to marginalize and silence Christians.
The Biden administration’s blatant targeting of Christian colleges and universities is an unacceptable abuse of power that strikes at the very core of America’s values. This weaponization of the government against people of faith is an affront to religious freedom and everything our nation stands for.
And it’s not just happening in higher education. Let’s not forget the FBI’s infamous Richmond Product – a report that labeled traditional Catholics as potential domestic violent extremists. Why did they proclaim that Catholics have a proclivity toward extremism? Well, they say it’s because most Catholics are pro-life and believe that God only created two genders. That clearly shows how they are nothing more than ideological zealots. Think about it, because Catholics don’t bow to leftist orthodoxy, they are declared radical extremists. Also, understand that they wouldn’t have the cojones to do this to Muslims, but they know they can get away with it when it comes to Christians.
And while Director Wray has testified that no actions were taken regarding the Richmond Product and was pulled once he found out about it, we know that’s a lie. First, we know it goes well beyond one field office and includes field offices in California, Oregon, Washington, and probably other states. It is my belief the only reason he rebuked the Richmond Product was because it was leaked to the public. Had it never been released, do you think it would have been pulled?
And let me ask all of you, where was President Biden who constantly talks about his Catholic faith? Has he ever released a statement on the FBI abuses? Did he release a statement defending Catholics? Did he call Director Wray into his office to give him a tongue-lashing? The answer is no to all those questions, and the propaganda press never asked him a single question about this, at least as far as I am aware of.
This is an administration that views faith not as a cornerstone of American life but as an obstacle to its ideological ambitions.
But it’s even more insidious than that. While Christian colleges are being hit with crippling fines and bans from receiving any federal student aid, including Pell Grants, the Biden administration is simultaneously funneling millions of taxpayer dollars into pushing its woke agenda. We’re talking about $50,000 to study so-called “white supremacist extremism,” $4.5 million for an “equity center” at LSU, $1 million to re-engineer biology classes to align with gender ideology, and even $50,000 for a DEI math conference.
This isn’t governance – it’s ideological warfare. And it sets a dangerous precedent.
And when we get back from this quick break, we will examine the broader implications of this assault on faith and freedom. We’ll discuss what’s at stake for every American, regardless of whether you’re a Christian or not. I will also talk about how we can fight back. Don’t go anywhere. We’ll be right back.

Fighting Back Against the Abuses of Power
Welcome back to The P.A.S. Report Podcast. In the last segment, we laid out the facts: The Biden administration has unleashed an unprecedented assault on Christian colleges and universities. But this isn’t just about those institutions. The implications of this assault extend far beyond faith-based education – it’s about the survival of liberty in America.
When the government is weaponized against a specific group, it doesn’t matter if it’s Christians, Catholics, or any other faith, it erodes the fundamental rights that protect us all. The war on Christians is bigger than partisan politics. It’s about defending the First Amendment, ensuring that no administration, Democrat or Republican, can ever wield its power to suppress dissent or punish those who refuse to conform to an ideological agenda.
Let’s take a moment to reflect on what’s really at stake here. America was founded on the principles of religious freedom. It’s enshrined in our Constitution as the very first amendment for a reason. And yet, under the Biden administration, we’ve seen a growing trend of hostility toward those principles. Just look at how they built a censorship industrial complex to silence dissent. Label protests anti-government or anti-authority so it fits with the National Strategy for Countering Domestic Terrorism.
When it comes to religion during the coronavirus, state governments throughout the country determined when, where, and how, we can exercise our faith.
This war on Christians is an extension of policies we first saw under the Obama administration, with the same underlying goal: to compel religious institutions, particularly Christian ones, to conform to leftist ideology.
If this all feels disturbingly familiar, it’s because it is. During the Obama administration, we witnessed the government targeting faith-based organizations, most notably in the case of the Little Sisters of the Poor. For those who may not recall, the Little Sisters, a group of Catholic nuns, were dragged through years of legal battles because they refused to comply with an Affordable Care Act mandate that violated their deeply held religious beliefs.
What was that fight about? The federal government tried to force these nuns, whose lives are devoted to serving the elderly poor, to provide contraceptive coverage in their health plans, including abortifacients, even though it directly contradicted their faith. The administration wasn’t just indifferent to their beliefs – it was openly hostile. The Little Sisters’ case became a national symbol of the government’s attempt to use its power to coerce religious institutions into adopting policies that go against their doctrines.
Now, under the Biden administration, we see that same hostility resurrected. Only, it’s taken on an even broader and more aggressive form. Christian colleges and universities are being disproportionately fined, stripped of federal aid, and targeted by the Department of Education’s Office of Enforcement. Secretary Miguel Cardona’s remarks about wanting to see these schools “shut down” show that this isn’t about enforcement or fairness. It’s all about eliminating faith.
The Biden administration, like its predecessor under Obama, seeks to compel Christian institutions to abandon their foundational values and adopt policies that align with leftist ideology. Whether it’s forcing nuns to violate their faith or fining Christian universities into submission, the strategy is always the same, use the full weight of the federal government to punish those who refuse to conform in its war on Christians.
The targets may differ, but the objective remains unchanged: silence any person, institution, or group that stands in their way or dissents from their narrative. For Christians, that means pressuring them to adopt policies on gender ideology, abortion, and DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) that are antithetical to their beliefs. Anyone who refuses is targeted, met with public vilification, and silenced.
Whenever they talk about something like unity, remember, that they want unity through submission. Bow to their ideology, keep your mouth shut, and we can enjoy the freedoms they allow us. Sorry, but it doesn’t work that way, nor should it.
Over the last several years, we have witnessed ordinary Americans targeted by this administration. Silenced and censored for daring to dissent. We’ve seen parents complaining at school board meetings targeted. We’ve seen conservative institutions targeted. We’re witnessing Christians and Jews get targeted.
If everyone remains silent, who’s next? This is why every American, regardless of their faith, should be outraged. Because this isn’t just about Christianity, it’s about protecting the liberties of all Americans.
But their grip is beginning to weaken, and there is more that can be done to reign in the out-of-control bureaucracy. First, Congress needs to step up and investigate the Department of Education’s enforcement practices. We cannot allow bureaucrats to hide behind closed doors while they systematically dismantle the rights of faith-based institutions. Transparency is non-negotiable.
Second, the impacted institutions need to fight back. They should file civil liberty complaints with the Department of Justice and, if necessary, take their cases to court. The Constitution is on their side.
The new administration must uncover how deep the war on Christians goes and fire any bureaucrat who puts ideology before the agency’s mission.
Finally, it’s up to all of us to speak out. Silence is not an option. Whether it’s writing to your representatives, supporting organizations that defend religious freedom, or simply raising awareness, we must make it clear that this abuse of power will not stand.
We are a Judeo-Christian society, and this war on Christians is a war on freedom. It’s a fight for the soul of our nation, and it’s one we can’t afford to lose.
