Rant or Rave Wednesday
Can the Republicans Stop the Infighting For the Upcoming Election?
This week is not a rave, but it’s not a rant either – it’s more like a plea. Can the Republicans unify for the good of the citizens of the United States? Can they coalesce around sound policies and honest politicians? Can they put their political aspirations aside and function for the benefit of America and Her people?
There are too many self-serving Republicans. At times, it’s difficult to differentiate between a Democrat and a Republican. Members of Congress need to be reminded that they are there to serve, not enrich themselves or obtain notoriety. Party affiliation is becoming irrelevant. Watch what the politician does, rather than what they say or promise.
Let’s be honest – our country is on a sharp decline – the economy is tanking, international relations are compromised, and our border is nonexistent with millions of people pouring across that the taxpayer is forced to finance and support. Crime is rampant, and the Biden administration continues to perpetuate the lie that everything is just fine.
Now is the time to set aside any petty differences or conflicts and unite under an agenda that serves the will of the people. Agree to close the border and enforce immigration laws. Agree to utilize America’s plentiful natural gas resources and become energy independent again, allowing gas prices and utility bills to decrease. Agree to allow small businesses to operate freely with fewer regulations and more policies that promote innovation. Agree to stop funding schools that fuel anti-Americanism instead of fostering critical thinking and ingenuity. Agree to devise a realistic plan to remove illegal aliens, particularly those who have committed crimes.
Recently, Trump met with Governor DeSantis, and that’s a good start. They had a productive meeting that will assist Trump with his fundraising efforts. Adding DeSantis donors to the Trump Campaign is a necessary step to help win this election. The Democratic Party has an endless number of wealthy donors that would like to continue to ‘fundamentally change’ our great nation to one that serves the elite rather than the ordinary, hard-working American.
Something really frustrating to witness right now is the Republicans fighting over Speaker Johnson, proclaiming that he needs to be replaced. My eyes are rolling and I’m breathing an exasperated sigh. Yes, some of the grievances are valid, but the consequence could result in a Hakeem Jeffries’ speakership. We are walking a tightrope, and we need to think longterm. The one thing the Democrats always get right is that they stick together. Let’s not elect Republicans for the sake of the ‘R,’ (think Mith McConnell) but rather let’s elect the person who has a record of being a leader for regular people, particularly outsiders. This is why primary voting is essential.
The citizens of this country deserve better than what we are getting now, and we can start with the truth – the truth behind the Biden Family scheme to enrich themselves, the truth behind the war in Ukraine, the truth about the trajectory of the economy, and most importantly, the truth about the value of what it means to be an American citizen.
This moment calls for bold, fearless, and strong leadership. Whether you like his personality or not – Trump fits that description. I cannot think of any other man or woman that could have endured the full wrath and power of the United States government, or what Trump refers to as the swamp. We must stop pretending that leftists and others high in power are not using every means necessary to eliminate President Trump. They will do anything, legal or not, to accomplish this goal. They created a fake Russian collusion story that usurped years of his presidency, they impeached him twice under ridiculous allegations. They have falsely labeled Jan 6th and Trump supporters as insurrectionists and have jailed many of them without due process. Oh, and let’s not forget the ludicrous cases inept prosecutors are usurping Trump’s campaign time with. This does not exemplify the “democracy” that they scream about ad nauseam.
In order to restore our great nation, the best and brightest in the political arena need to align with President Trump to get us out of the mess we are in now. Vote in primaries and elect congressmen and women who will take their jobs seriously and not fall prey to the swamp. America is and has always been a beacon of hope and freedom. The world needs a strong America. We must prevail.
