This is a special episode because what happened on Tuesday cannot be understated. It was a political earthquake sending shockwaves throughout the United States.

This piggybacks off Wednesday’s episode where I discussed how ordinary Americans are sick and tired of the ruling class that talks down to ordinary Americans. The public servants who believe the people exist to serve them.

People are tired of the BS far-left agenda. People are tired of reckless spending. People are tired of those trying to slander law enforcement. People are tired of the petty tyrants issuing their decrees, and then violating their own edicts. People are tired of watching their children be indoctrinated. People are tired of those who want to reintroduce racism within our society.

People are tired of corrupt institutions and the frauds like Fauci. People are tired of our institutions being weaponized for political purposes. People are tired of the two sets of rules that exist- one for our overlords, and the other for everyone else. Most importantly, people are tired of being vilified, labeled as domestic terrorists, simply because they have a different political opinion. They’re done with cancel culture and the woke mob. They’re done censoring themselves.

People are now standing up, speaking out, and are making their feelings known in the voting booth. The Democrats and the far-left have overreached and we see the results. People are suffering economically, paying much more for food, gas, and heat their homes.

There was a clear message being sent. Republicans won many statewide races, obviously, the biggest was in Virginia where Glenn Youngkin defeated Terry McAuliffe. But Republicans also won the other Statewide races there, as well as the House of Delegates.

But it wasn’t just in Virginia. We saw victories at local levels all over the place, and New Jersey was an absolute shock. Just think about a month ago when Emperor Murphey was polling 26-points ahead of Jack Ciattarelli. Talk about a tight race, and imagine what it would have looked like had the media covered the race at all. Imagine the difference, had the republican party apparatus paid attention to this race and threw resources behind Ciattarelli?

He probably would have won handily. With all that being said, we know why this happened, but we need to focus on what happens next.

The America First Agenda

This election was a clear rebuke of far-left policies, but understand, the left is good at what they do, and they’re mad now. Do not underestimate them.

Republicans need to look at what Glenn Youngkin did to win. He did something I’ve been talking about since I started this podcast. Something I’ve been criticizing The Republican party about for quite some time.

See, Republicans try to focus on the base and purple areas. They rarely go into the Democrat strongholds to try and speak to and win over Democrat voters. Yet, that’s exactly what Youngkin did. He went into the Heavily Democrat areas, and he reached out to those Democrats who feel abandoned. He over-performed in most Democrat districts. I constantly tell the Republicans, it’s not about flipping these areas red. If you can just 3-6% of these people change their votes, they win.

Instead, the republicans will routinely ignore these areas, and guess what? If you don’t go into them, you won’t win over many voters. Governor-elect Yongkin has proved me right, and the republican party as a whole would be wise to pay attention to that.

You also need a message, and they were on point with their messaging. They were also disciplined. Republicans have no room for error, and the second any republican says or does something stupid, it gets amplified and attached to all other Republicans.

Republicans won is because they focused on the bread-and-butter issues. They focused on the rising cost of everything. They focused on what’s happening in our schools. They focused on the tyrannical decrees of masking and vaccine mandates. They focused on an America First agenda.

Retail politics works and we need to continue to engage in that to broaden the appeal and grow the support.

The Hard work Now Begins

While the Republicans had a really good night, there’s a lot of work that still needs to be done. Republicans, independents, and even moderate democrats cannot afford to become complacent.

Now the hard part begins. Republicans actually have to govern, and every republican needs to know that you are replaceable. Do not abandon those that got you into office, and remember, you are there to serve the public interest, not your own. Don’t you dare start acting in the same authoritarian fashion as the left? Don’t abandon the America First agenda and keep reaching out in areas that the republicans have long ignored.

To all the people out there. Your job is not done either. You have to keep up the pressure. You have to stay engaged. You have to hold republicans accountable. Just because Tuesday was a big victory, as quick as you win, you can lose everything in the next election. So, it’s important that we don’t just sit on the sidelines and think things will go back to normal. That common sense is returning. Stay active.
