Episode 66 Show Notes- Dave Rubin ║ P.A.S. Report
Episode Description
Dave Rubin, the host of The Rubin Report, drops by The P.A.S. Report to discuss his new book, Don’t Burn This Book. Dave went on a political journey, from a left-leaning progressive to a free-thinking classical liberal. Free-thinking = Freedom, especially in the age of unreason. It also means being able to tolerate and respect views that differ from your own. We examine how the far-left has become the regressive party that seeks to censor and silence anyone they disagree with. Somehow, during the course of the discussion, we manage to talk about Dorothy Zbornak and The Golden Girls.

Intro
Welcome to The PAS Report Podcast. This is your host Nick Giordano. We are now in Week 7 of the lockdown in New York. The good news is that some states are slowly reopening in a responsible way. Hopefully, we begin to see the light at the end of the tunnel, and we can begin to rebuild our economy.
Today, Dave Rubin, host of The Rubin Report, joins us, and there is a lot to discuss. I’ve been listening to The Rubin Report for quite some time because Dave is someone who provides an honest analysis. He is respectful and discusses the issues rather than focusing on emotion and personality. But it’s Dave’s message of free-thinking that really makes me respect him. He understands that free-thinking = freedom. More importantly, he understands that free-thinking also includes being able to tolerate other people’s viewpoints even when they may conflict with our own preconceived beliefs.
I just finished reading Dave’s new book, Don’t Burn This Book. The book is due out tomorrow, but I was able to get an advanced copy, and I’m glad I did because it was a really interesting read. I put links up on The P.A.S. Report website. So, you can go on the show notes and click the picture or the title, and you can purchase the book.
As Dave explains his political journey leading to his political transformation, it is easy to relate to our own life experiences in a lot of ways.
