Intro
Welcome to The P.A.S. Report Podcast.
So much going on out there, and so little time to get to it all, but I have a great episode lined up for you because the dereliction of duty by this administration is just astonishing. It’s not that they are creating and implementing failed policies. It’s that these policies are going against our national interests and causing real damage.
The pain of these policies is clearly evident, yet there isn’t even a discussion on reversing course. Instead, the administration continues to double and triple down on their dereliction of duty.
A question that every person needs to ask themselves a little over a month before the midterm elections is whether their life is better today than it was a few years ago. Is your personal economy better today? Has your quality of life improved under the current leadership, or has it declined? Is America in a better position today? Has our power and influence around the world increased or decreased?
These are very important questions you need to ask yourself and remember which party holds the power at the federal level. If you’re in New York, remember, Democrats have had a supermajority since 2018 meaning that they don’t have to rely on a single Republican vote to get anything done. All the current problems are a direct result of the Democrat agenda. It’s not just the dereliction of duty from the Biden administration, we are also seeing the dereliction of duty by regimes like the unelected Governor of New York State.
Now, any alternative has to be better than this. At least it’s worth a shot. I mean if Republicans had these majorities, and my life continually got more difficult with my quality of life in freefall, I would say I’m out. I may disagree with the other party on every issue, but I’d give them a shot anyway because let’s face it, we vote based on our own interests and whether our lives are improving.
I wonder how many Democrats feel this way, and whether we will see a Democrat backlash against their own party in the midterms. This election is hard to predict. How many people who don’t go out to vote and aren’t political animals like me, how many of them are going to turn out because they are absolutely disgusted by what our politicians are doing? How many of them are on the brink economically and fed up with the stupidity? I can’t calculate or even begin to predict, but I sure hope it’s a lot because any alternative has to be better than what we have now.
In this episode, I am going to discuss the dereliction of duty, especially when it comes to one issue that could have catastrophic consequences. It’s something very few are talking about, and most people are completely unaware of. I’m also going to get into the Republican’s Commitment to America that they released on Friday. Do they lay out concrete objectives or is this more fluff and just stating the obvious?
I’ll get to it all, but before I jump in, be sure to click the follow button so you never miss an episode, share this episode with others, and visit The P.A.S. Report website.

Quick Recap of the Dereliction of Duty
Getting to today’s episode, if you notice over the last two weeks, I talked about the artificial manipulation of the economy. I explained the radical climate policies detrimental to the lower and the middle class. I explained how the arrogant elite is inflicting unnecessary financial pain on already struggling Americans just so they can feel better about themselves. This insane push for electric vehicles that aren’t ready for prime time, and that our grid structure and infrastructure cannot possibly support at this time.
I also brought up their plans that will cripple the maritime industry, particularly the fisheries where they want to cut off fishing vessels from 1.7 million ocean acres. We will have vessels competing in a smaller geographic area meaning that their hauls will be reduced, and many will go out of business. Another problem is the potential for overfishing which does damage to the ecosystem. As a result, we will see an industry get destroyed and the prices of seafood will skyrocket.
Another thing I brought up, and something that hasn’t been discussed in the media, was how Americans created this revolutionary battery technology at one of our national laboratories, and how the Department of Energy transferred over the full license and the technological know-how to Communist China. Not only did our tax dollars fund this research, but not a single person was held accountable for this. No one fired. No one is in jail. It is extraordinary how the media is so silent, but not only the media. Where are all the climate change warriors? They should be up in arms, but they are silent. More frauds.
I brought up the insane agricultural policies we are witnessing worldwide. Policies created by people who have no clue about agricultural issues or supply chains. You have elite, public virtue-signaling city dwellers and suburbanites who think they know better than the farmers do.
They want farmers to cut their productivity because they say the agricultural industry is hurting the environment- the livestock, the fertilizers, the stocks. Great, so we will save the planet from climate change but die of starvation- sounds reasonable. The farmers are already facing a crisis given rising energy costs and fertilizer shortages. Now it’s slated to get even worse. I was reading an article in Time Magazine about a poultry farmer in Switzerland. The farmer has well-kept barns for the chickens, with heated floors, a state-of-the-art filtering system, and solar panels on the roof. His whole farm is run with renewables, but according to people who know absolutely nothing about farming, that is not enough.
In Switzerland, people will go to the polls and vote on whether to ban what they deem as factory farming. If the vote succeeds, the farmer will have to reduce his chicken stock from 9,000 to 2,000. That’s a nearly 80% reduction in supply. How do you think that’s going to work?
Has everyone gone insane? Does it sound smart to reduce agricultural production by any amount? And I can guarantee that two things will happen. First, if this passes, other countries in Europe and around the world will follow suit. Second, when poultry prices skyrocket, all those who voted to support this measure will bitch and complain about how expensive chicken is.
Remember what I’ve been telling you about the last two weeks? You have these public virtue signalers who truly believe they are morally superior to everyone else. They believe they are righteous and everyone else that doesn’t agree or think like them is nothing more than a bunch of ignorant ingrates. It’s easy to just go along with their narrative and not risk the backlash of speaking out. However, the danger is that as these policies get implemented, it does real long-term damage, and when everything hits the fan, it will be too late.
It’s easy to say you’re willing to spend $10 a gallon to save the planet or to help Ukraine win its war with Russia, but when that really happens, you’ll see how many really don’t care about the environment or Ukraine.
I also brought up the frauds when it comes to crime and bail reform, as well as the public virtue signalers who exposed themselves for who they really are with the Martha’s Vineyard theater where they kicked the migrants out in less than two days. These people don’t care about migrants. They don’t care about the open border or illegal immigrants so long as it isn’t impacting their communities. When it comes to our border, the dereliction of duty is abundantly clear.
And that’s the question I raised last week. Why is always the already vulnerable communities- communities where the infrastructure is collapsing, the resources are stretched thin, and the schools have failed- why are they the ones who constantly shoulder the burden?
For the last few months, I’ve been highlighting institutional corruption and the abuses of power by the self-appointed guardians of democracy. The uniter-in-chief and his administration have instituted policies to target their political opponents. They demonize anyone who deviates from their narrow-minded viewpoints. They label completely reasonable positions fascists and call their political opponents extremists. They compare their opponents to Hitler and the Nazis.
It really is disgraceful. But more than that, it is dangerous. As I have said time and time again, they are intentionally ginning people up, and there are a lot of unstable people out there. Just last week a 41-year-old man ran over and killed an 18-year-old kid. According to the man, he justified it by claiming the 18-year-old was part of a Republican extremist group. Hmm, I wonder where he got that idea from. Even worse is how little regard he had for the kid he just murdered. In court, this piece of garbage had the nerve to pushback against $50k bail and told the judge, “I have a job, a life and a house and things that I don’t exactly want to see go by the wayside — family that are very important to me.” But you won’t hear about that in the media. It really is disgraceful.
See, all these policies I’ve been discussing, have a few things in common, most notably is that they don’t improve our lives or our society at all. In fact, they harm our quality of life. They make our lives much more difficult where people now have to make really tough decisions about things like what bills to pay, and which ones they can’t afford. Like whether it is safe to leave their homes to get a gallon of milk or is the violence on the street too dangerous. They also foster hatred, but they would rather play the divide and conquer strategy.
The dereliction of duty is clear.

Dereliction of Duty on the World Stage
This brings me to the next topic I want to talk about since I have been heavily focusing on domestic issues. Even though there are international components to these issues, I want to talk about the dereliction of duty when it comes to foreign policy.
Two or three weeks ago, Ukraine went on the offensive and recaptured occupied territory. I was explaining to my world politics class that now is the time for the Biden administration to call Putin and Zelensky and demand they come to the United States to start discussing an agreement that would end hostilities. This would be in everyone’s interests and begin to restore some stability to the international system.
I explained to the class that in Russia, leaders die if they lose wars. It’s not like the United States where you could have 20 years of war in Afghanistan, and as we’re withdrawing, it took the Taliban less than a week to recapture the country. Not a single person has been held accountable for this spectacular failure. However, failures like this aren’t tolerated in Russia so in order to get Putin and Zelensky to agree, we would have to broker a deal where that both can take back to their countries and say they got something.
For Russia, it’s simple. Give them the unspoken agreement that we had since the end of the Cold War in 1991. Sign a written agreement that Ukraine will not seek NATO membership. Again, this has been an unspoken policy for decades with the exception of former President Bush floating Ukrainian membership in NATO following Russia annexing two provinces in Georgia.
If Putin can bring that to his people and withdraws his forces, Zelensky could say how he led his country and fought back against one of the most powerful armies in the world and forced Russia to withdraw.
It would also be in our interests to do this because it would show how America still has the power and capability to end disputes. That we are still the leader of the free world, and it would increase our power on the international stage. But we don’t have leadership and the dereliction of duty is clear.
However, I explained to my students that it’s bizarre how we don’t even hear any talk from this administration, or any other country for that matter, to resolve the dispute and end the conflict. It really is interesting that no one- none of the officials, no one in the media, none of the so-called experts- no one is interested in ending this conflict.
Think about how crazy that is, and we have to ask why? I mean two or three weeks ago would have been the perfect opportunity, yet nothing.
Ask yourselves, who has a vested interest in keeping this war going?
Find the perfect tires!
Was There a Tentative Agreement Between Ukraine and Russia?
Here’s the shocking thing: again, very few are talking about this. The other day an article was published in Foreign Affairs. Foreign Affairs is a forum that’s existed since 1922 and regularly discusses important topics, particularly our foreign policy and global affairs. Foreign Affairs is published by the Council of Foreign Relations. I am not always the biggest fan of CFR. They pushed the neocon wars and they are globalists, but we have to recognize there are some really smart people at the Council of Foreign Relations, and some of their analysis is good. They can be very informative, and some do a very good job breaking down the complex issues we face on the world stage.
So, even though I may disagree with them on a variety of issues, I do pay close attention to their work because they put out some interesting stuff.
Getting to my point. The other day I was reading an article in Foreign Affairs, written by Fiona Hill and Angela Stent. The name Fiona Hill should be very familiar to you. She testified during the first impeachment of former President Trump. She was an advisor on Russia and Ukraine in the White House but is not a fan of the former President. Angela Stent is a Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution and a Professor at Georgetown University. Certainly, they aren’t righties, no conservatives.
Throughout the article, they talk about how Putin wants to revise history and reawaken the Russian empire. That he uses the threat of NATO to reshape the world map through military and nonmilitary means. That his ambitions go well beyond Ukraine. I highly doubt that Putin’s thinking about anything beyond Ukraine given the number of challenges he faces.
Throughout his 25 years of leadership, Putin rarely made mistakes, but his decision to invade Ukraine has to be the biggest miscalculation we’ve witnessed by a country in quite some time. A miscalculation that will go down in the history books. Consider that Russia is much weaker today than it was before invading Ukraine.
What’s amazing is that as you’re reading this long article, about three-quarters of the way down, they write, “According to multiple former senior U.S. officials we spoke with, in April 2022, Russian and Ukrainian negotiators appeared to have tentatively agreed on the outlines of a negotiated interim settlement: Russia would withdraw to its position on February 23, when it controlled part of the Donbas region and all of Crimea, and in exchange, Ukraine would promise not to seek NATO membership and instead receive security guarantees from a number of countries.”
Right after that, she jumps to a July interview with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov who stated the tentative agreement is no longer an option.
Huh? So, a tentative agreement was reached in April and according to the agreement, Russia would have withdrawn its forces, and Ukraine would have promised to never join NATO, but they could still negotiate security and defense agreements with other countries. Why aren’t we just learning about this? Why didn’t the media cover this at all? Why are most in the media not talking about this? More importantly, what happened to the tentative agreement?
We know that the agreement was reached in April 2022 and then we get the statement from Lavrov that the deal is off the table in July 2022. Why wasn’t the tentative agreement announced? Why are we just learning about this now, and why did it collapse before ever going into effect?
These seem like pretty important questions. Here’s the interesting part, when you do a little digging, you find that this tentative agreement fell apart following Boris Johnson’s visit to the Ukraine which leads to more questions like what was discussed between Boris Johnson and Zelensky? Did Boris Johnson play a role in killing the agreement, and if so, why?
There are some reports that it was the Biden administration who dispatched Boris Johnson to Ukraine to kill the deal. The message was simple, you cannot agree to this deal. Putin is a monster. If you support this tentative agreement, say goodbye to western financial and military aid. Now, it is important to note that I have not been able to confirm the Biden administration sent Boris Johnson to Ukraine to kill the deal, but if it is true, we need to know about that and would be a clear dereliction of duty not only endangering the United States but the global community as well.
And it gets more interesting when you look back on previous statements and previous headlines. In late March, negotiations were going on. Even French President Macron was in communication with Putin working the diplomatic phone lines. As the negotiations between Ukraine and Russia were continuing, on March 26, President Biden publicly stated that “Putin cannot remain in power.”
This incensed Marcon who publicly criticized the President and warned that using regime change language will make things worse as Macron seemed pretty vested in working out an agreement between the two nations. Macron also publicly stated that European powers have more at stake in the conflict than the United States.
In another speech a few days later, Macron stated that Europe must pursue a different policy towards Russia than the Biden administration. Interestingly enough, a few weeks later, Macron easily won his reelection, but he wouldn’t take President Biden’s phone call. Someone should ask if the reason Macron rejected Biden’s phone call was because Macron was mad that his administration potentially scuttled any peace agreement. I have no idea what the answer is, but there are so many questions and so few answers.
Disaster can strike at any time. Be prepared and know that your family is well fed.

Power is Dynamic
Within the international community, power is dynamic. It’s an ebb and flow. Since the collapse of the Soviet Union, the United States was the undisputed superpower. Beginning in 2005, our power and influence began to cede and would continue for the next ten years. Since power is a zero-sum game, when we are losing power, other countries are gaining power.
So, as we began to lose power, our adversaries like China and Russia were gaining power. Still not enough to dethrone us as the sole superpower. However, the coronavirus virus and our response to it began to change things significantly. Then you factor in a series of catastrophic policy decisions on energy, inflation, the way we withdrew from Afghanistan, and others, and we are bleeding power due to the dereliction of duty.
Once Ukraine invaded Russia, and Russia’s military weaknesses were exposed, Russia lost a significant amount of power. We have been overestimating their military capabilities for decades, and Russia is significantly weaker today than it was before the invasion of Ukraine.
Naturally, you would think since power is a zero-sum game that since Russia is a natural adversary to the United States- while we have common interests, our foreign policies will always conflict because they seek to expand their power and influence and we seek to maintain ours- so you would think as Russia is losing power, we would gain that power, but that’s not what is happening.
We are losing power as well. The Biden administration continues with their failed policies that make us significantly weaker abroad. From energy to food to the supply chain. Also, our military readiness has been crippled. Our military stockpiles are well below where they should be. Munitions, Javelins, shoulder-fired missiles, our stockpiles are well below where they should be.
So, if Russia is weaker and we are weaker, where has the power gone? Well, the obvious answer is China. China continues to grow more powerful, and the world continues to grow more unstable. Talk about dereliction of duty.
Commitment to America
As I said at the beginning, any alternative has to be better and the dereliction of duty cannot continue. Now, I want to talk about the Commitment to America that the GOP leadership unveiled on Friday.
I always talk about the incompetence of the Republican Party, and Friday was an example of that. First of all, why are you releasing this on a Friday when few are paying attention to the media, and most are thinking about the weekend? The rule of thumb in politics is to release the stuff you don’t want to be discussed on a Friday afternoon because the news cycle will change by Monday. Whoever’s decision it was to release it on a Friday is an idiot.
The second point is why did they wait a little over a month before the midterms to release the Commitment to America? Just because you announce something doesn’t mean that people are paying attention. It takes time to get this information to the people, especially when the mainstream networks aren’t going to cover this at all.
I understand why they announced it now. They want it to be fresh right before the election. However, wouldn’t it have made more sense to release it over the summer? I know that there are a lot of people that don’t pay attention over the summer and following Labor Day people begin to pay attention to the election but stay with me here.
They should have released the plan over the summer. Cut a few commercials and promote them on social media. Over the summer, they could have created trifold brochures, and at the end of September, mail these brochures to every single person living in the urban communities, as well as to all those in the purple suburban areas.
What do you think would have been more impactful- what the Republicans actually did or what I said they should have done? Politics isn’t all that complicated. Most of it comes down to common sense. Unfortunately, that’s an area severely lacking in the United States. When it comes to elections, the way to win elections is to draw in new voters. The base is coming out, especially given the political environment so you need to reach out to independents, nonaffiliated voters, and disaffected democrats.
The fact is most people will never know or be aware of the Commitment to America, and it is way to late to create these brochures, stuff them in envelopes, and mail them out to the areas where there is potential to siphon off some votes.
We Are The Majority: The Life and Passions of a Patriot
What is the Republican Agenda
As far as critiquing the Commitment to America, the Republicans lay out four promises. An economy that’s strong, a nation that’s safe from crime, a future built on freedom, and a government that’s accountable.
All those things sound great, and the Commitment to America does a good job at highlighting the problems, but those are kind of self-evident. We know what the problems are every time we fill up our cars with gas or go to the grocery store to purchase food. We feel the problem when we sit down to look at our bills and have to figure out what to prioritize.
We know what the problems are every time we see a video of a bunch of people ransacking a store. We know what the problems are whenever we see a video of someone being brutally assaulted. We know what the problems are when we learn about the death and destruction occurring daily in our once great cities.
We know what the problems are as many within the government issued unconstitutional decrees. We know what the problems are when they say that parents shouldn’t complain or have a say in what their children are learning.
We know what the problems are when it comes to government accountability, and we see the FBI being used as a partisan police force. We see the problem of the lack of accountability where after twenty years of war in Afghanistan, the Taliban was able to recapture the country in less than a week and not a single person was fired or demoted.
All those things are obvious. The central question is what do the Republicans plan to do about it? This is where the Commitment to America falls short. It is nothing more than a bunch of vague slogans like, “Curb wasteful government spending that is raising the price of groceries, gas, cars, and housing, and growing our national debt,” or “Increase take-home pay, create good-paying jobs, and bring stability to the economy.”
That sounds great, but the Republicans should be explaining how they intend to do these things. I understand being vague to a degree because you don’t want to say something that may alienate certain voter blocs, but I am still haunted by “repeal and replace.”
Remember, for six years Republicans campaigned on the idea of repeal and replace when it came to Obamacare. They won the House back in 2010, they won the Senate in 2014, and the Presidency in 2016. You would think that within the 6-year period Republicans would have a plan ready to go. They would have worked out all the kinks, got input from the experts, and tweaked the plan to make sure it would sail through.
Instead, they had nothing. It was an embarrassment and highlighted their incompetence.
Closing
The Republican Party needs to be on their A-game because the country cannot survive the continued dereliction of duty. I am not a fan of either party, but we’ve seen how democratic leadership has decimated our country, many of our cities, and our lives. The policies they propose would do more harm in both the short and long term.
They want to jam through an agenda, ultimately making the United States unrecognizable. There is a reason we rose to become the greatest country in the world, and I am not willing to let it all go out the window, as I am sure you aren’t either.
And while I am no fan of the Republicans, they are the last line of defense to at least stop the madness. We need to reverse it, but perhaps if the Republicans can get the majority in the House and Senate, maybe it would force this administration to be more like Bill Clinton after the Democrat Party lost the House and Senate in 1994 forcing Clinton to abandon the far-left agenda.

We also need to capture control of offices in states like New York where this state has suffered under a democrat supermajority because the Hochul regime is also guilty of a dereliction of duty. Sanity must be restored before it is too late.
