Welcome everyone to another episode of The PAS Report Podcast.

It’s Christmas week, and there is a lot to reflect on. During these challenging times, it’s essential we take the time and refocus on what’s important to us. This last year has been extremely challenging, and we have witnessed one of the largest power grabs in our country’s history.

It appears that many of our elected officials, who have sworn to uphold the Constitution, have decided that they are the ones who determine what freedoms we have. They seem to have forgotten that they exist to serve us and that our liberties are derived from God, not from government.

See, the coronavirus has shined a light on what these politicians really think about the people, and it’s clear, they view the first amendment as an inconvenience as they have fundamentally restricted religious freedom throughout the pandemic.

And since it’s Christmas week, I can think of no better guest to have on than Father Frank Pavone. Father Frank is the National Director of Priests for Life and serves as the President of the National Pro-Life Religious Council. He’s also the Pastoral Director of the Silent No More campaign.

I figured what better time to have on Father Frank to discuss the all-out assault on our religious freedoms. I also want to discuss how the left has successfully shifted the narrative when it comes to religion in the United States.

What a great time to have Father Frank on the program. We have religious freedoms for a reason, and we cannot allow our government officials to trample on these freedoms. The first ten Amendments, our Bill of Rights, are sacred, particularly the 1^st Amendment. And we have to ensure that government does not trample on our God-given liberties and restrict our freedoms.

We need to recognize that the 21st-century culture war is in full swing, and there are many who want to destroy American ideals and values. We simply cannot allow them to do that.

Given what has occurred over the last year, the destruction of lives and livelihoods, particularly those who own and work in a small business. Increases in suicide and drug overdoses. Massive increases in anxiety and depression, I think faith is essential during this time and I am glad Father Frank was able to join us today.
