Intro

Welcome to The P.A.S. Report Podcast.

So, I had a whole episode lined up for you today. It was recorded, edited, and ready to go. I have to say, I was looking forward to releasing it because, in the episode, I was going to explain how we keep pretending we live in a free society.

Then around 6 pm on Monday, news reports began to break about the FBI raid on Trump, and so the episode I had planned will have to wait until next week because what took place on Monday, the FBI raid on Trump, has extraordinary ramifications and it needs to be discussed.

But this episode goes hand in hand with the episode I planned to release so you’ll be able to hear that episode next week, and you won’t want to miss it because there are so many people who are living in a fantasy world, and they don’t want to admit the obvious.

This news rocked the very foundations of American political life, and the institutional corruption has been apparent long before former President Trump, but many of us chose to ignore it.

For over a decade, I’ve been warning about the increasing corruption of our institutions. When I say corruption, it’s not corruption like money and bribes, although that happens too. It’s the corruption of power where unelected bureaucrats think that they can do whatever the hell they want consequences be damned. Bureaucrats that believe they are so much smarter than everyone else. Bureaucrats that believe they are the guardians of democracy. Bureaucrats that believe they are the ones in charge of the system- not you and not our elected representatives.

Because we ignored this corruption and buried our heads in the sand, the institutional corruption metastasized, getting worse and worse. It now threatens the very fabric of American life.

And I want to make it very clear, yes, I am a Conservative, but no matter what your political affiliation is, you need to pay attention to this episode.

Some of you may not be fans of the former President, and I know I have a lot of people on the left who listen to the show, but this much bigger than just one person or one office.

Pandora’s box was opened quite some time ago, and I warned about it. Now we are seeing the results and it doesn’t end well for anyone regardless of political ideology. The FBI raid on Trump sends a dangerous and powerful message, not only to Americans but to the rest of the world.

For those celebrating this, I have a warning- be careful what you wish for because it’s not going to work out the way you think it is.

What We Know and Don’t Know About the FBI Raid on Former President Trump

First, I’ll explain what we know and what we don’t know about the FBI raid on Trump, then I’ll get into how coordinated and frightening this incident is and how it may play out. I’ll also give specific examples of the corruption and double standards we have witnessed. Finally, I’ll then wrap up the episode with the long-term implications of this gross abuse of power by out-of-control, corrupt institutions.

Remember, this is a fluid situation so the information can quickly change as more information comes out, but from what we know so far, we are hearing reports that the FBI raid on Trump is regarding boxes of documents that he took when he left the White House.

There are allegations that the documents taken are a violation of the Presidential Records Act, and that these documents should have been handed over to the National Archives upon the former President leaving the White House. There are also reports that some of the documents are classified and that it is illegal to remove classified documents and bring them to an unsecured location like Mar-a-Lago.

There are reports that some within the FBI feared that the President would destroy these records, and so they had to move to retrieve them quickly.

That excuse doesn’t pass the smell test. It was reported in December of 2021 that the National Archives alerted the former President and his team that boxes of documents should have been turned over to the National Archives when Trump left the White House.

In February, it was also reported that throughout the last year the Trump team was cooperating with the National Archives to locate any documents that should have been handed over. In the same month, the National Archives released a statement that they were voluntarily informed by Trump’s team that they located documents that should have been turned over, and the National Archives arranged for the secure transportation of 15 boxes of documents.

From the same report, the documents were letters from foreign leaders, as well as mementos and gifts. (Newsweek)

President Trump and his staff have stated that they have been cooperating with the National Archives and the FBI since last year.

If this is true, then why the raid? If it’s not true, then why wouldn’t the FBI try subpoenaing the documents rather than get a sealed search warrant and send dozens of FBI agents to search Trump’s home? A subpoena would have been far less controversial. It wouldn’t have been a controversy at all, but there is a reason they didn’t do that. I’ll get into that in a minute.

We also know that when the FBI raid on former President Trump occurred, they searched every room, cracked a safe, and took documents indiscriminately. They didn’t sit there to check if these were the National Archive documents that they were looking for. More on that later as well.

So that is what we know. There is far more we don’t know. First, now I’m really curious as to what’s in these documents. Maybe they contain information on Area 51. Maybe the documents contain dirt on politicians and corrupt officials. Who knows…maybe these are the Epstein files? Apparently, the judge that signed off on the warrant represented some of Jeffrey Epstein’s employees, including the pilots of the Lolita Express. That may be a little conspiratorial, but it’s so weird that this guy “suicided” himself two years ago and his name is still popping up. I don’t know, but maybe the DOJ should get to the bottom of the whole Epstein thing.

I have no idea what’s in these documents, but now I want to know.

We know both FBI Director Wray and Merrick Garland had to be aware of, and give their approval, for this raid. You are not going to let some supervisory special agents make a judgment call to obtain a warrant and raid the home of a former President.

But the real question becomes who at the White House was informed this was going to happen? Now, the White House has stated that they were not informed of the raid and that they are not being apprised of any investigations into Trump for obvious reasons.

That’s a bunch of baloney. If you really believe that the White House wasn’t informed, I have a bridge I can sell you.

We know that this is an extremely political DOJ and FBI. There is no chance on earth that the Attorney General is going to approve the FBI raid of a former President and not inform the White House. I will bet my life that people within the White House knew this raid was coming down the pike. Whether it’s the White House Council, the Chief of Staff, and several others. They had to be informed prior because of the potential political blowback on President Biden.

This Was Well Planned and Coordinated

Now I’m going to get into some facts and some speculation. According to court documents and the sealed search warrant, the warrant was signed on August 5^th, and obviously, they executed the warrant on August 8^th. Since that’s the case, the FBI had to be investigating the former President for at least a couple of months to justify the need for a warrant and show some type of reasonable suspicion or probable cause.

Also, I have little doubt that the FBI was monitoring the former President. Why did the FBI wait until the 8^th to execute the warrant? Why didn’t they go the day the warrant was issued or the next day? It isn’t a coincidence that they executed the warrant on Mar-a-Lago while Donald Trump was in New York.

It’s Not About National Archive Records

Now the speculation. What is the whole investigation about? Even disgraced Emperor Cuomo is demanding that Merrick Garland and the DOJ immediately explain what’s really going on. He tweeted, “DOJ must immediately explain the reason for its raid & it must be more than a search for inconsequential archives or it will be viewed as a political tactic and undermine any future credible investigation & legitimacy of January 6 investigations.”

Even Majority Leader Schumer knows that something isn’t right. Schumer loves to hear himself talk and he’s never been shy about opening his mouth. When asked about this, he responded, “Well, I know nothing about it other than what I’ve read like everybody else, so I think it’s wise for me to withhold comments until we learn more.” For the Majority Leader not to pontificate, you know something is up.

Even they know it’s not about National Archive materials, and they certainly aren’t Trump supporters that’s for sure.

I see that some people are speculating that the Department of Justice may be using this as a pretext to prevent the former President from running in 2024. According to U.S. Code 18, Section 2071, which talks about handling government documents, one of the penalties upon conviction is that the person “shall forfeit his office and be disqualified from holding any office under the United States.”

However, that doesn’t make much sense. While the statute states this, it does not apply to elected officials in the House, the Senate, or even the President of the United States, and if they tried to use this, the court would immediately throw out the case. You are not going to go after a former President for mishandling government documents.

The Constitution is clear on the requirements to run for these offices, and the Constitution trumps, no pun intended any statute. The requirements are few and simple. There are age requirements, residency requires, and naturalization and citizenship requirements. That’s it. Nowhere does it state that if a person is convicted of a crime, they are disqualified from running for these offices.

It’s crystal clear, and I would think that those at the Justice Department know that as well.

There are only two ways that the former President would be disqualified from running. The first is impeachment and removal. Obviously, that’s not happening because they can’t impeach someone who isn’t in office, and they already tried that twice anyway.

The second way, and the most likely reason, is to invoke the 14^th Amendment, which states that anyone “engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.”

It wouldn’t surprise me if the Archive story was simply a pretext. Use it to get into the door and then take all documents indiscriminately in an attempt to find information and tie the former President to the January 6^th riots. I admit it’s speculation on my part, but why else would they take so many documents indiscriminately at the same time Trump and his team were cooperating with the National Archives document?

Doesn’t that explanation make much more sense? Find something that links the former President to sedition and conspiracy to defraud the government. This whole thing may simply be a dangerous fishing expedition to prevent Trump from running in 2024. An expedition that has disastrous consequences that go well beyond Trump, Biden, and the current partisanship.

And that’s probably why, at least as of this recording, that we haven’t heard from the Attorney General. Imagine if the Attorney General comes out to speak and says confirms the investigation is about the Archive documents, only to later come out and say- Well, we didn’t find anything prosecutable on the archive stuff, but we did find stuff on x, y, and z- how’s that going to look?

It would be naïve to think that this is about mishandling documents.

Our Institutions Destroyed Themselves

Then you have the Never Trump crew, the Democrats, and the acolytes in the media, all saying this is it. This is going to be the thing that brings former President Trump down. Maybe that’s true and maybe it’s not, but at what cost?

They constantly say that no one is above the law. That’s laughable given what we have witnessed over the last two decades. There is a hell of a lot of people above the law, and they all have something in common, they’re either a Democrat and/or they hate Trump. Let’s at least be honest about that.

They’ll say that if the former President committed crimes, he should be prosecuted, and then they try to pigeonhole their opponents. Well, if you don’t prosecute Trump then you’re saying he’s above the law. If you don’t want to prosecute Trump, you’re putting party over country. You’re part of the MAGA cult.

What these idiots don’t understand is that our institutions destroyed they’re credibility. They destroyed their credibility when they said they weren’t spying on the American people when they were. They destroyed their credibility when they spied on sitting members of the United States Senate Intelligence Committee. They destroyed their credibility when it came to the Russian collusion hoax and bountygate. They destroyed their credibility by telling us that for 20 years we were making progress in Afghanistan only to have it collapse in less than a week.

Inconvenient Facts

I know facts can be inconvenient for some but get your heads out of the sand and stop living in a state of denial. Here are some facts that show why there is little faith in our institutions and why so many people don’t trust anything they say or do.

Fact: Biden’s laptop is real and it wasn’t Russian disinformation like the officials were telling us. They straight up lied.

Fact: We know who the Big Guy is. It’s not a secret because we have Biden’s documents.

Fact: We know Hunter and President shared bank accounts & Hunter paid his father’s bill.

Fact: We know the Bidens received millions from foreign entities, and they never registered as foreign lobbyists or foreign agents.

Fact: We know that the Bidens were using government resources to influence policies for personal gain.

Fact: We know Hunter lied on his firearm application and the Secret Service, which are government resources, was sent to try and clean up Hunter’s mess.

Fact: We know the FBI was used to retrieve Ashley Biden’s diary. Since when does the FBI track down personal diaries?

Fact: We know the FBI lied to the FISA court & manipulated evidence. We know Kevin Clinesmith pled guilty to manipulating evidence presented to the FISA court.

Fact: We know the FBI doubted the Steele Dossier, but they used it anyway as a pretext to launch an investigation into a presidential candidate and then a duly-elected president.

Fact: We know the FBI was aware that the Dossier was funded by the Clinton campaign.

Fact: We know DOJ Official, Bruce Orr’s wife, worked for Fusion GPS which was the go-between for Hillary Clinton’s campaign, and her lawyers from Perkins Coie.

Fact: We know Comey and McCabe lied to officials. We know Comey took classified information and gave it to a reporter so that a special counsel can be launched to investigate then-President Trump. We know McCabe disclosed classified information to reporters.

Fact: We know FBI agents wanted to prevent Trump from becoming president through their OWN text messages. Those text messages also showed deep seeded malice towards Trump.

Fact: President Trump is the most investigated person in the history of the United States. He’s been investigated by the FBI and DOJ in DC. He’s been investigated by the Southern District of New York. The Special Counsel investigated him. The Manhattan District Attorney investigated him. The New York State Attorney General investigated him. He’s being investigated by Georgie officials. Congress investigated every aspect of him. Those are facts. It’s funny because they constantly try to call Trump dumb and stupid, but if he’s guilty of all the things they accused him of, he must be a criminal mastermind. He must be a criminal genius if he could evade prosecution from all those investigations. Either that, or he didn’t break any laws and they will grasp at anything to try and take him down.

Fact: We know Hillary deleted over 30k emails, some of which contained classified information.

Fact: We know Hillary’s server was destroyed AFTER they were subpoenaed to preserve the server and the emails. We know that the company that wiped the server clean sent an email message about wiping the server with the subject line stating, “Hillary cover-up operation work ticket archive cleanup.”

Fact: We know that several people in the Clinton orbit, including Cheryl Mills and Huma Abedin, lied to officials, but were never charged with perjury.

Fact: We know James Clapper and John Brennan lied to Congress when they said that no government program exists that spies on the American people. We know they were never charged or prosecuted for lying to Congress.

Fact: We know that Eric Holder and Lois Lerner were never prosecuted for contempt of Congress, but Steve Bannon was.

Fact: We know that the IRS targeted Conservative groups.

Fact: We never saw a raid on Hunter Biden, Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, Antifa, Black Lives Matter, Comey, McCabe, Brennan, or Clapper. Funny how that works.

Regardless of how you feel about Trump, whether you love him or hate him, don’t you dare question me about why I distrust these institutions because those are the things, I can ramble off the top of my head. I’m sure I can add a bunch more to that list. Don’t you dare question my motives and integrity. At every step of the way, these institutions have proven themselves to be ideological weapons. They themselves are responsible for the lack of trust.

I know these are inconvenient facts, but they are facts that cannot be ignored.

Resources in the FBI Raid on Trump

Not for nothing, just last week you had FBI Director Wray complaining that his resources are stretched thin and that he has to prioritize cases. He didn’t answer any of the questions asked, but he made sure to talk about the dangers of domestic violent extremists.

We keep hearing about how domestic terrorists are the biggest threat to democracy. That we have this out-of-control white supremacy problem and that these white supremacists are engaging in planning domestic terror attacks on American soil.

Let me ask you something, how many raids has the FBI conducted on these domestic terror organizations? I’m not talking about the January 6^th rioters. I’m talking about those actively engaged in domestic terrorism and white supremacy. Why don’t you ponder on that for a little?

Closing

See, this is politically motivated and calculated. It is a coordinated effort, and how do they think this will play out? We see this BS in third-world countries. We are not supposed to see it here in the United States.

These corrupt bureaucrats have destroyed the trust we once had in our institutions, and what do they think is going to happen if they continue to push?

You don’t have to be a genius to see how this ends very badly for all of us regardless of political ideology. Their disdain for Trump has clouded them to the point where they don’t even see the damage they are inflicting on our society. Or maybe they do realize and just don’t care. Maybe they want something to happen to justify this massive power grab and complete the ideological weaponization of our institutions.

You had investigation after investigation. There comes a point where you leave him and his family alone, especially considering that Joe Biden is guilty of everything you accused Trump of.

They talk about threats to democracy, but they’ve become the real threat as they’ll do anything to marginalize and silence nearly 50% of the country, even if it means destroying the country and violating the Constitution.

Remember what I said at the beginning of this episode? They need to be careful what they wish for because they are creating an environment that they won’t be able to control. The FBI raid on Trump is a game-changer. And when everything spirals out of control, we are all screwed.
