Illegal Immigrant Gives America Double Middle Fingers: The Growing Disrespect from Illegal Migrants
I’m sure many of you have seen the illegal immigrant who recently gave, not one, but two middle fingers after being released without bail for allegedly assaulting two NYPD Officers in Times Square. This week is most definitely a rant.
The crime, which was caught on video, is difficult to watch, but the reaction of 22-year-old Jhoan Boada, as he was released, is impossible for many of us to digest. The brazenness of his disrespect exemplifies the disdain many of the illegals pouring across our border have for our laws – obviously – as they have already defied them by ignoring the legal process of entry. This is something we the people are not allowed to point out without being branded as racist.
As a daughter of immigrants, I truly believe that legal immigration into this country is a beautiful phenomenon. It does, in fact, strengthen The United States of America. Nearly every individual who undertakes the long and arduous task of becoming a legal citizen has a love for America that is profound. You can see it in their faces during a naturalization ceremony or in the pride they take in their contributions to our beloved country.
What’s happening at our Southern Border, however, is not, “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses to breathe free…” It’s just give me, give me, give me, and I’ll do what I please – thank you very much. We are constantly being lectured that these people are refugees. Then, why don’t they stop at the first safe country they encounter? We are told that these people are starving. Really? Well, why is taxpayer-funded food – to the tune of over $100,00 for one year in one city – being unappreciatively discarded?
The average citizen and legal resident work very hard to put food on the table and provide a life for their children that might be better than the ones they have been afforded. We follow the rules and pay exorbitant taxes, and what do we receive in return? A government that is exponentially expanding and spends our money on things we don’t want, need, or agree with.
In 2023, the cost of migrants to New York City taxpayers was $1.45 billion. This is just one city and one year. Is any of this money being allocated for the dilapidated roads, the disintegrating education system, the crime, or the homeless crisis plaguing NYC? Nope. And I will probably scream if I hear some official give us the tired line – We can walk and chew gum at the same time. Actually, no you can’t – you’ve proven that time and time again.
Back to the creep, Mr. Boada. He should be the poster boy for why unfettered illegal immigration will destroy this country. Aside from the relevant fact that it’s economically unsustainable and our infrastructure simply cannot handle the enormous influx in the period this is occurring, the mindset of the illegal migrant, in general, is detrimental. That is all thanks to the message the Biden Administration has sent – come here and we will take care of you, rather than come here, acclimate, contribute, and oh yeah – follow our laws!
This needs to end, and we can start by telegraphing that this behavior will no longer be tolerated. How about we give Jhoan Boada double middle fingers right back and prioritize locating him, and since we’re such a generous nation, I’ll even support a first-class ticket back to wherever he came from.
