Intro
Welcome to The PAS Report Podcast. This is your host Nick Giordano.
There is a lot going on in America, and we all need to be paying attention. When it comes to race relations and law enforcement, I said we need to get it right in the United States. Sadly, I’m not sure we are doing that.
The death of George Floyd has been hijacked. And the scary part is how you have these useful idiots, the media and the elected officials, doing the bidding of some nefarious actors.
The calls to defund the police have grown louder and louder. It’s something that would have been a joke just a few years ago, but now it seems like the idea is gaining traction because you have spineless elected officials kneeling at the feet of the mob.
For this episode, I’m bringing in Joe Murray. Joe is a former police officer, former District Attorney candidate, and he’s currently an attorney. Joe brings a unique perspective, as he can come at it from all sides of the debate. He is someone who fought corruption internally and defended front-line police officers. I’m bringing him in to discuss the idea to defund the police, and how to rebuild community-police relations. We talk about the important role police officers play in the lives of at-risk youth.
Closing
