Intro

Welcome everyone to another episode of The PAS Report Podcast.

What a weekend. So, President Trump announced that he is going to nominate Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court, and I was all set to do my research on her this weekend, then my crazy 5-year-old decides he’s a daredevil, and while he’s jumping around like a maniac, he falls the wrong way. 6 hours in the Emergency Room, and of course he broke his arm.

I’ll tell you, parenthood is the hardest job I ever had. The good news is he is doing well, and his spirits are good. You would think he would have learned his lesson to calm down, but he still has this amazing amount of energy. I wish I could have 10% of the energy he has. Needless to say, I wasn’t able to do the research I wanted.

However, I got a great guest coming in. John Yoo, the author of Defender-in-Chief, returns to The P.A.S. Report. Professor Yoo is someone that understands the law, the Constitution and the Supreme Court. Initially, when I contacted him, we were going to discuss potential challenges in the 2020 Presidential Election, and then Justice Ginsburg passed away.

So today, we are going to discuss how her passing reshapes the court. We will also discuss the Democrat’s reaction as they are acting like children, and even bringing in the impeachment word as the president and the Senate exercise their respective Constitutional powers. And we will also get into potential scenarios in this election as there are so many questions out there.

I’m so glad John could come in today because these are really important questions and he brings in real-world experiences. Understand, we will see an election like no other and Democrats will not accept a President Trump victory. And when you read John’s book, he has a better understanding of what’s going on than most others.
