Episode Description
John Curley joins The P.A.S. Report Podcast to discuss a topic that receives too little attention- child abuse. This has been a growing problem in the United States, and yet, it is never part of an elected officials’ political platform. We all talk about how much we care about children, but what have we done to force the politicians to develop actionable plans aimed at keeping kids safe. Intro
Welcome to The PAS Report Podcast. This is your host Nick Giordano. We are now in Week 6 of the lockdown in New York, and most of the country. I am going to keep the countdown going. As we hear more and more chatter about the possibility of reopening the country, hopefully, we will return to some semblance of normalcy relatively soon.
As for today, I have a really great guest to discuss a really important topic. I’m bringing John Curley because he has over three decades of experience as a Private Investigator and working on some of the worst child abuse cases. Child abuse is a topic that receives very little attention and goes mostly ignored by politicians. Due to the nature of John’s work, he is someone who has passionately devoted his career to protecting the youth and those most vulnerable.
In order to raise awareness, John decided to become a fiction author and wrote the critically acclaimed book Bonds. We have links on https://pasreport.com where you can get the book so visit the show notes. While the book is fiction, it is based on his real-world experiences. His writing reflects the real need for changes in the legal system and how we approach child protection.
John recently started the Child Protection Constituency as an organization designed to influence the policymakers at the federal and state level. He is a man of action, and I’m glad I can bring him in.

Closing
John’s a great guy and I’m glad I can call him a friend. He is someone who truly cares about kids, but more importantly, he doesn’t just talk about it. He takes action and wants to make a real difference. You can follow John on Twitter @realJohnACurley or you can follow him on Facebook just type in John A. Curley. Also, don’t forget to go to The P.A.S. Report website, click on the link for the show notes, and we have links directly to get John’s book, Bonds.
As John says, it’s time for us to talk less, and take action. Instead of writing a Facebook post, send a message to your state and federal legislators and let’s make real change in order to protect these children.
As for Wednesday, I have another great topic coming, so be sure to subscribe to the P.A.S. Report podcast so that you never miss an episode.
As always, thank you for joining us and stay safe.
