Welcome to The PAS Report Podcast. This is your host Nick Giordano.

This week I am shifting a little. I’m bringing in a Professor who is liberal to discuss the importance of national. Professor Michael Iasilli teaches Political Science at Suffolk Community College and St. John’s University. He is also a Visiting Scholar at NYU. I invited Mike on because at The P.A.S. Report, I believe in bringing all viewpoints in order to further debate and dialogue. This is what the United States is founded on. See, you can have two people, with different ideological viewpoints discuss the issues in a clear, rational way.

That’s what we are missing in the United States. We fail to keep an open mind. More importantly, if you bring a particular viewpoint, you are maligned, ridiculed, and labeled. That’s why I respect Professor Iasilli. We can have a conversation and may find areas where we can agree, but when we disagree, we still have respect for one another. We are going to cover a wide array of issues in this interview, and I am looking forward to the discussion
