Euthanasia is Becoming a Prevalent Alternative to Life

The disregard for human life is extremely evident in societies past and present. Wars are fought over land, religion, and how governments are run – all at the expense of innocent lives. Nothing can be more evident of this in the modern era than World War 2. Humanity came out of that war deeply ashamed of what occurred. A “never again” promise was asserted, but memories fade and evil eventually captivates certain people. Money also plays a role in this as wars are incredibly profitable for a select few. Currently, we are dealing with the Ukraine-Russian war and the Gaza-Israel conflict, which bring us videos of terrifying footage and brutal murders.

Recently, a new evil has re-emerged and garnered attention in the news cycle – euthanasia. Derived from the Greek words meaning good and death, euthanasia, according to the Oxford Dictionary is defined as “the painless killing of a patient suffering from an incurable and painful disease or in an irreversible coma.” It is important to point out the semantical difference between euthanasia and physician-assisted suicide. With euthanasia, also referred to as physician-administered suicide, the doctor directly administers the drugs that will kill the patient. With physician-assisted suicide, the patient is prescribed the drug and gives it to themselves. There are a handful of countries that allow some form of euthanasia, including the Netherlands, Canada, Belgium, and Switzerland. Here in America, 11 states allow a more stringent form of assisted suicide, and 6 states have bills pending.

Euthanasia was originally intended for people who were near death and suffering terribly, but this disturbing trend occurring in some parts of the globe has morphed into something outside the scope of its original intention. The definition is ambiguous, and ‘painful disease’ can be extrapolated to anything. Over twenty years ago, the Netherlands included psychological suffering as a reason for assisted suicide. At first, these particular cases were rare with only four occurring in a 6-year time frame. However, the number of individuals utilizing assisted suicide for mental health issues in the Netherlands catapulted to 138 cases in 2023.

Some may view assisted suicide as dying with dignity, while others in certain cases, particularly those concerning mental health issues, may view it as a giving up mentality, one that shuns the idea of working through difficulty. Proponents of euthanasia or assisted suicide will argue that nothing happens without the consent of the suffering individual and several medical professionals.

Requests for assisted suicide in Dutch law must be signed off by at least two doctors, but is that sufficient given what we know about the lengths some doctors will go to for supposed patient care? Here in the United States, some doctors are willing to surgically remove a child’s breasts, for instance, if that child merely feels like they were born into the wrong gender. Last year in the Netherlands, Milou Verhoof, who suffered from a psychiatric illness, Borderline Personality Disorder, underwent assisted suicide. She was only 17 years old. This is the perfect example of good intentions going awry.

Trust in so-called medical experts worldwide eroded after the COVID decrees they fiercely supported to supposedly protect people’s health. In fact, many of those ridiculous mandates led to more destruction than the actual virus did, especially concerning mental health. Also, there is a segment of the medical profession, who are okay with mutilating children irreversibly and labeling that gender-affirming care. The word ‘care’ should not be anywhere near a surgery that cuts off a child’s breasts or penis, or any chemicals that are given that permanently change a young person’s organs or physical structure. That is insane. So, wherever you fall on the merits of euthanasia, it is feasible to say that the advice and input from medical professionals have been greatly diminished.

Death is a daunting topic, but it is something we all must face. It is the one thing we are guaranteed in our lives, but it is not something we should actively control. Living healthy, taking medications for medical conditions, and utilizing innovative technologies to extend our lives are all acceptable measures. The general problem with euthanasia, or assisted suicide, as it is often referred to, is that human beings assume the role of God – which never works out well. History has proven this time and time again.

NYC Jury Finds President Trump Guilty, But Nobody Can Name the Crime

Last week’s guilty verdict was a gut punch – not only to Trump and his family but also to our republic and the democracy we supposedly live under. Crazed liberals gloated after Donald Trump was found guilty on all 34 charges in what has become known as the ‘hush money’ case, but the rest of the country paused. It isn’t just MAGA supporters who are perplexed by this trial and verdict, it is also independents, legal scholars, and just about anyone who values our constitution and judicial system.

There are so many irregularities, and that’s putting it mildly, with this case. So, what was the actual crime? Falsifying business records. Trump had a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) with porn star, Stormy Daniels so that she wouldn’t talk about their alleged sexual encounter. Keep in mind that this is a perfectly legal contract and is common among celebrities and people of wealth. The supposed illegality is that the former president marked the expense as legal fees, which would be a misdemeanor, however, the prosecutor, Alvin Bragg – an incompetent ideologue – changed those charges to felonies because he claims that Trump altered the records in an attempt to commit, aid, or conceal another crime. So what is the other crime? Well, that’s even more dubious. State prosecutors claim the other crime was to consciously defraud the American voters in the 2016 election.

Let me reiterate, even if Trump had sex with the disgraced porn store and paid her money to stay quiet, that is completely legal. It is interesting that during the course of the trial, the public learned that it was Stormy Daniels and Michael Cohen who committed crimes. Daniels extorted Trump for money, and under oath, Cohen admitted to stealing $60,000 from the Trump Organization. Want to take a guess if either will be prosecuted? Therein lies the problem – actual crimes are ignored. When Hillary Clinton colluded with foreign entities to fabricate lies about Trump’s ties to Russia and led this country down a four-year rabbit hole, interfering with the general business of America, she did not face any accountability. Well, that’s not entirely correct. The Federal Election Commission (FEC) fined Clinton over $100,000 for the same thing Trump was found guilty of – misreporting of spending. In her case, it was her payoff for the notorious Steele dossier.

I should also point out that the FEC was given Trump’s case years ago and declined to pursue charges, not even a fine. Isn’t that ironic? Not only did they not find this case worthy of any crime but neither did the prosecutors in the Southern District of New York. Nobody wanted to prosecute this case because they knew it didn’t have merit. Alvin Bragg himself declined to prosecute this when he took office in 2022. So, why now? Because Trump decided to run for president again. These charges could have been brought against President Trump nearly a decade ago, but everyone left it alone, knowing they didn’t have a shot of winning. That is until they secured a corrupt judge – Juan Merchan, a democrat donor whose daughter has raised millions off of promising to get Trump. There’s the real fraud!

And if you have doubts that this is all being orchestrated by the corrupt Biden administration and his DOJ, look no further than Matthew Colangelo, the 3^rd ranking official in Biden’s Department of Justice, who left that high position to work under and assist Alvin Bragg in prosecuting the case against Donald Trump. Can this be any more obvious?

We have now turned the corner and dove off the cliff in American politics and in our judicial system. Make no mistake – there is a two-tiered system of justice for Democrats and Republicans. You can see this with the January 6^th debacle. Hundreds of people who were at the Capitol that day have been arrested. Many have been jailed and put in solitary confinement. Another January 6^th defendant, Matt Perna, recently committed suicide as the government refused to give him a speedy trial. His crime? Obstructing congress. All those individuals who rioted during the summer of 2020, set cities on fire, destroyed businesses, and tried to burn down a courthouse with people in it have not been treated like this. It’s a travesty.

Alvin Bragg is allowing crime to run rampant in New York City. Businesses are fleeing because of this sham case, and yet, actual crime that is terrorizing residents of New York goes unpunished. It is backward, but the good news is that this has garnered even more support for Trump. People are waking up to the lies and deceit the Biden administration has spread to the American people.

Follow Up From President Trump MAGA Rally in the Bronx

Let’s follow up on last week’s ‘rave’ about Trump holding a MAGA rally in the Bronx, one of the bluest counties in the country. All eyes (and cameras) were there to witness and scrutinize not only Trump’s words but also the turnout and the crowd’s response to him. The rally has most certainly captured the media’s attention and has forced those in the media to see, with their own eyes, how the electorate, outside of middle America, views the former president. So, how did it turn out?

Let’s start with the crowd size since that seems to be an area of contention, particularly for the mainstream media. The permit at Crotona Park in the Bronx allowed for approximately 3,500 people to attend the event. Some have reported that an estimated 25,000 people came to see President Trump speak, but I’m going to stick with the most reliable source. Law enforcement officials verified that about 8,000 to 10,000 individuals were present for the rally. That’s an impressive number considering that Trump has been wrongfully portrayed as an adversary to voters like those living in the Bronx.

Ceding that he drew a decent crowd, let’s examine who was in the crowd, what he discussed and the attendees’ response to him. Contrary to assertions by liberal pundits that the people coming would not be from the area, Bronx residents and individuals from the surrounding boroughs and suburbs comprised much of the crowd. Well, of course they did! Far-left elected officials have ignored their constituents for decades, failing to listen to their needs or improve their lives. They simply want someone to address their concerns and change the city that leftists have abandoned for their own power and wealth. You don’t have to believe me. Listen to this CNN reporter describe the crowd to Anderson Cooper, substantiating my claim. What did they think – that he was going to fly in thousands of people from West Virginia?

The difference between Trump and Biden is that he doesn’t take the minority vote for granted, something Blacks and Hispanics are waking up to. Rather than spewing insensitive and racist phrases like, “You ain’t black,” if you don’t vote for Biden, President Trump focused on real problems affecting New York City and its majority non-white residents. He spoke about the city’s rich history, a history he had a part in building up. He discussed illegal immigration and its negative impact on legal residents trying to make a living there. He talked about crime and how New York City residents deserve to live in a safe community. President Trump spoke about issues that affect their daily lives, and he delivered his speech with his usual blunt candor – a quality people of the Bronx respect. He did all this to chants of “Trump” and “build the wall.”

During the rally, one resident of the South Bronx, Andrea Pabarue, told a reporter, “My main issues are border, cost of living. I’ve been working 28 years, and I can’t afford to buy a house.” This is who leftists have forgotten about – ordinary people. They speak in platitudes and theories, never addressing the daily lives of their constituents. Although New York is still a long shot for the former president, the progress he’s made in New York is astounding. A recent poll shows Biden has a mere 9-point lead over Trump in New York. To put that number in perspective, Biden won the state by 23 points in 2020.

Campaigning is not rocket science. Candidates need to address the concerns of voters and then – and here’s where Democrats continuously fail – deliver on those promises. The good news is that President Trump has a record to run on. He passed the First Step Act, which was a criminal justice reform law that benefitted inmates who were given unjust prison sentences, 91.3% of whom were Black. He created an economy that was better for people of all ethnicities, and international relations were stable. All the left has to offer is hate and division. If this election cycle reflects real results, Trump will be president once again.
