This not only includes conservative voices like Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham, but it includes any high-profile individual that doesn’t conform to the leftist point-of-view. Now the censorship activists have taken it to a whole new level by targeting ordinary Americans and their social media profiles seeking to destroy their reputations and livelihoods.

Intro

Welcome everyone to another episode of The PAS Report Podcast. This is your host Nick Giordano.

This week I’m bringing back a friend of The P.A.S. Report, Politick Rick. Rick is a champion of free speech. I want to bring on Rick because I have noticed a scary and troubling trend over the last two weeks. For the last several years, we have witnessed the far-left begin to take over the national debate.

These far-left figures viciously attack anyone who disagrees with their point-of-view. They are well-organized and coordinate their activities in order to silence anyone who challenges them. Just last week groups like Sleeping Giants and Media Matters put an enormous amount of pressure on T-Mobile and Disney to stop advertising on Tucker Carlson’s show. They do this in an attempt to get any voice they disagree with, off the air.

They try to brand anyone who disagrees with them as racists, misogynists, bigots, white nationalists, and other vile names. These labels are designed to act as a scarlet letter in an effort to marginalize those who don’t bow to the mob.

What’s far more troubling is how these groups have now adopted new targets. While they are still targeting high-profile individuals, they are now targeting ordinary Americans. By sifting through social media, they look to seek and destroy people’s reputations and livelihoods when they come upon posts they don’t like. They harass those people and push their employers to fire these individuals simply for expressing a thought.

I’m not talking about those posting blatantly hateful, racist or threatening things. I’m talking about innocuous posts that go counter to these leftist activists. This new tactic is frightening and designed to instill fear within the populous and end debate.

I will say unequivocally, I do not tolerate racists, hate groups including the KKK, Neo-Nazi’s, and other white nationalist movements. Remember, us Italians suffered at the hands of these groups. I also won’t tolerate other hate groups like the Black Panthers.

However, these activists have weaponized speech and try to lump their opponents in with these groups all in their pursuit of power. This is why I wanted to bring Rick in.
