Episode 81 Show Notes- Socialists Look to Seize the Opportunity in America
Episode Description
Last week, Professor Giordano explored how socialists are attempting to hijack the death of George Floyd to push their agenda in the United States. This week, it’s time to point out and name the groups involved. Using these groups’ own words, The P.A.S. Report demonstrates how the current unrest has little to do with Black lives and racial equality. This has everything to do with Marxism and the destruction of our Constitution, capitalism, and the free market system. This is an attempt to radically transform the United States into a socialist country. Unfortunately, the advocacy news media refuses to expose the truth and what’s really happening.

Intro
Welcome to another episode of The P.A.S. Report Podcast. This is your host Nick Giordano.
I have to say, we are living through some insane times here in the United States. I mean it’s just flat out bizarre.
George Floyd was killed about three weeks ago. At the time, there was universal agreement that George Floyd should be alive today, and we need to make real reforms in this country. In three short weeks, the situation has devolved.
I started to explain it last week. I started to bring up how the socialist movement has hijacked the death of George Floyd. This is no longer about George Floyd. It’s not even about Black Lives. We are witnessing an attempt to bring the United States. To change our way of life.
The socialists know how to exploit the situation, and they are doing a damn good job. So, last week I explained what was really going on, and the big push to socially engineer our society. Today I am going to point to some of the specific groups involved and show you how there is nothing mainstream about these groups. I will use their own words to illustrate that these are nothing more than socialist and Marxist organizations.
And our horrible news media will not tell you what’s really going on because they know that if they expose the truth, support for this movement and the unrest we are seeing will drop dramatically.
Before I jump in, go to The P.A.S. Report, signup for the newsletter, and after this episode, take 30-seconds to write a good review and share it with others.
CHAZ/CHOP Demands
I need to start by talking about this thing going on in Seattle. Now they are changing their name, so it was CHAZ, but apparently, they are now calling it CHOP. And the leaders of this City and the Governor should really be ashamed of themselves.
When are you going to hold these elected officials accountable? You can’t just have a bunch of morons commandeer several city blocks and start making demands. In fact, Seattle City Councilmember Kshama Sawant, who is a member of the radical organization known as Socialist Alternative, openly railed against capitalism in a speech before the protesters and encouraged this.
I am all for freedom, liberty, and protests, but when a bunch of idiots take over several city blocks so they can smoke pot, play hacky sack, and complain how the system is against them, it’s time to clean up your city. But the elected officials won’t do that because they don’t care about the people they are supposed to represent.
And just to illustrate how it has very little to do with George Floyd, and everything to do with Socialism, here is a list of some of their demands. I am leaving out the demands regarding the defunding of police because we have heard that before. But here is what else they are seeking:
“We demand the City of Seattle and State Government release any prisoner currently serving time just for resisting arrest if there are no other related charges, and that those convictions should also be expunged.”
“We demand that prisoners currently serving time be given the full and unrestricted right to vote, and for Washington State to pass legislation specifically breaking from Federal law that prevents felons from being able to vote.”
“We demand autonomy be given to the people to create localized anti-crime systems.”
“We demand that the funding previously used for Seattle Police be redirected into: A) Socialized Health and Medicine for the City of Seattle. B) Free public housing, because housing is a right, not a privilege. C) Public education, to decrease the average class size in city schools and increase teacher salary. D) Naturalization services for immigrants to the United States living here undocumented. (We demand they be called “undocumented” because no person is illegal.) E) General community development. Parks, etc.”
“We demand the de-gentrification of Seattle, starting with rent control.”
“We demand free college for the people of the state of Washington, due to the overwhelming effect that education has on economic success, and the correlated overwhelming impact of poverty on people of color, as a form of reparations for the treatment of Black people in this state and country.”
“We demand that between now and the abolition of the SPD that Seattle Police be prohibited from performing “homeless sweeps” that displace and disturb our homeless neighbors, and on equal footing we demand an end to all evictions.”
“We demand a decentralized election process to give the citizens of Seattle a greater ability to select candidates for public office such that we are not forced to choose at the poll between equally undesirable options. There are multiple systems and policies in place which make it impractical at best for working-class people to run for public office, all of which must go, starting with any fees associated with applying to run for public office.”
“We demand the hospitals and care facilities of Seattle employ black doctors and nurses specifically to help care for black patients.”
“We demand that thorough anti-bias training become a legal requirement for all jobs in the education system, as well as in the medical profession and in mass media.”
This is a socialist wish list that has absolutely nothing to do with George Floyd’s death. What’s truly amazing is how quickly it’s devolved into the Lord of the Flies, yet the mainstream media outlets continue to make it as if it’s just one big party and that it’s okay to just take over 6 city blocks and declare autonomy.
That’s how dumb our media is. They are trying to coverup for a bunch of losers even though we have video of people being beaten, reports of businesses being extorted, reports of white people having to pay a white privilege tax. They don’t like racism, yet they promote it inside CHAZ/CHAD. And then, of course, they don’t want the police, but they have their own enforcers who regularly abuse power. They don’t believe in borders, yet they erected their own barriers, what I would call a border wall to keep people out. Funny how this is working out.
What’s even worse is that you have the city enabling these people by sending in clean up crews, emptying port-a-potties, and providing other services. The people of CHAZ should have to take care of their own autonomous zone, not the Seattle taxpayer. But you know what, if the people of Seattle don’t rise up and get rid of these officials, then it’s on them.
Democrat Socialist of America
So, you have CHAZ or CHOP, whatever you want to call it, mostly a bunch of incompetent idiots, but there are bigger, more coordinated organizations out there exploiting the current situation. One of the bigger organizations is the Democrat Socialists of America.
In previous episodes, I already explained what the Democrat Socialists of America are all about. They want to create a socialist utopia here in the United States. They want to destroy our economic system, thereby destroying our government institutions and our Constitution. (Democrat Socialists of America)
They have latched onto this movement and have helped organize the massive protests. Just to give you an idea of what they are all about, here is a piece that was written by members of the Democrat Socialists of America.
“Our organization can coordinate across broad sections of society and fight for a socialist perspective in the current uprising, showing what is possible when the working class strikes with a single fist.”
“As this volatile situation evolves, it’s high time for us to change as well — to question the strategy we’ve been using and take bold steps forward in the struggle against capitalism and oppression.”
“We reject the bullshit reforms that came after the last Black Lives Matter protests. We know body cams don’t make a difference; the whole system has to come down.”
“These mobilizations are schools of war against the capitalists.”
“It’s not time to phonebank, but to fight tooth and nail to keep a radicalized movement in the streets and in our workplaces, help coordinate and develop fighting groups and caucuses among activists and organizations participating in the protests, and push our unions to stand up against police brutality and more.”
“Our organization can coordinate across broad sections of society and fight for a socialist perspective in the current uprising, showing what is possible when the working class strikes with a single fist.” (Leftvoice)
Notice the language they use. This has nothing to do with racism in America, and everything to do with the destruction of the entire system. Also, members of this organization were speakers at these protests and events.
Movement for Black Lives (M4BL)
The next group I want to discuss is the Movement for Black Lives, also known as M4BL. The media has reported about this group, but they have not told you what this group is all about. And if you read their charter, it’s horrifying.
In fact, the media openly promotes this organization and even directs readers on how they can donate to this organization. But before you get out your checkbook, let’s take a look about what this movement is all about.
They describe themselves as an abolitionist movement and they have more than 100 member organizations throughout the country. If you are wondering how all the protestors got Defund the Police masks so quickly, well this organization had them ready to go.
Also, Angela Davis has supported, worked with, and promotes this organization. In case you don’t know Angela Davis is, she is a known supporter of communism. In 1970, she was arrested because she purchased firearms for the Soledad Brothers. These people were accused of killing a prison guard at Soledad prison. That year, those individuals gained control of a courtroom killed the judge, and injured the prosecutor and a juror.
She was arrested and charged with aggravated kidnapping and first-degree murder. She was represented by John Abt who was the general counsel of the Communist Party USA. Ultimately a jury would find her not guilty of the charges most likely because they overcharged her.
However, Angela Davis is a known communist who openly promoted countries like Cuba and the Soviet Union. She became a Professor in 1975 and has been revered in academic circles ever since. Of course, I find it amazing, but unsurprising, of academia’s open support of a Marxist.
Now that you have an idea of people that promote this organization, let’s take a look at what this organization stands and fights for in their own words.
“We believe that prisons, police and all other institutions that inflict violence on Black people must be abolished and replaced by institutions that value and affirm the flourishing of Black lives.”
“We believe in centering the experiences and leadership of the most marginalized Black people, including but not limited to those who are trans and queer, women and femmes, currently and formerly incarcerated, immigrants, disabled, working-class, and poor.”
“We believe in transformation and a radical realignment of power:
The current systems we live inside of need to be radically transformed, which includes a realignment of global power. We are creating a proactive, movement-based vision instead of a reactionary one.”
“We are anti-capitalist:
We believe and understand that Black people will never achieve liberation under the current global racialized capitalist system.”
“Real, meaningful, and equitable universal health care that guarantees: proximity to nearby comprehensive health centers, culturally competent services for all people, specific services for queer, gender nonconforming, and trans people, full bodily autonomy, full reproductive services, mental health services, paid parental leave, and comprehensive quality child and elder care.”
“A constitutional right at the state and federal level to a fully-funded education which includes a clear articulation of the right to: a free education for all, special protections for queer and trans students, wrap-around services, social workers, free health services (including reproductive body autonomy), a curriculum that acknowledges and addresses students’ material and cultural needs, physical activity and recreation, high-quality food, free daycare, and freedom from unwarranted search, seizure or arrest.”
“A divestment from industrial multinational use of fossil fuels and investment in community- based sustainable energy solutions.”
“A cut in military expenditures and a reallocation of those funds to invest in domestic infrastructure and community well-being.”
“A progressive restructuring of tax codes at the local, state, and federal levels to ensure a radical and sustainable redistribution of wealth.”
“A right to restored land, clean air, clean water and housing and an end to the exploitative privatization of natural resources — including land and water. We seek democratic control over how resources are preserved, used and distributed, and do so while honoring and respecting the rights of our Indigenous family.” They will determine.
“An end to the privatization of education and real community control by parents, students, and community members of schools including democratic school boards and community control of curriculum, hiring, firing, and discipline policies.”
Once again, look at the language. That’s their own words, not mine. Those are direct quotes and it’s pretty clear who they are, where they stand, and it’s clear this is much more than police brutality and the death of George Floyd.
Black Lives Matter
The next organization is Black Lives Matter. As I said last week, I support Black Lives and they do matter. However, I do not support this organization. Now if you say that you don’t support the organization, you are viciously attacked, but let’s take a look at what this organization is really about. Once again, we will do it in their own words.
“We are self-reflexive and do the work required to dismantle cisgender privilege and uplift Black trans folk, especially Black trans women who continue to be disproportionately impacted by trans-antagonistic violence.”
“We build a space that affirms Black women and is free from sexism, misogyny, and environments in which men are centered.”
“We practice empathy. We engage comrades with the intent to learn about and connect with their contexts.”
“We dismantle the patriarchal practice that requires mothers to work “double shifts” so that they can mother in private even as they participate in public justice work.”
“We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and “villages” that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable.”
“We foster a queer‐affirming network. When we gather, we do so with the intention of freeing ourselves from the tight grip of heteronormative thinking, or rather, the belief that all in the world are heterosexual (unless s/he or they disclose otherwise).” (Black Lives Matter)
Once again, this nothing more than a far-left movement disguising itself to be combating racism. In reality, they push a socialist agenda and want to see our system torn down.
The Party for Socialism & Liberation
This next group, the Party for Socialism and Liberation, is a communist party within the United States. This organization looks to create and lead a revolution against the capitalist system. They state that achieving “fully developed socialism…will open the way to communism and the end of class society.” (Liberation School)
Now I’ll remind everyone, Karl Marx once said that socialism is the first phase of communism and he believes that socialism is not yet to “provide justice and equality.” (Marxists) I’d also like to point out that communism never ended the class system. Instead, it just took everyone in the middle class and impoverished them where only two classes exist- the poor and the wealthy elite connected to the highest levels of government.
Again, here is the Party for Socialism and Liberation in their own words.
“The Party for Socialism and Liberation is a working-class party of leaders and activists from many different struggles, founded to promote the movement for revolutionary change.”
“Capitalism—the system in which all wealth and power is held by a tiny group of billionaires and their state—is the source of the main problems confronting humanity today: imperialist war, poverty, exploitation, layoffs, unemployment, racism, sexism, lesbian/gay/bi/trans oppression, environmental destruction, mass imprisonment, union-busting and more.”
“We are fighting for socialism, a system where the wealth of society belongs to those who produce it—the workers—and is used in a planned and sustainable way for the benefit of all. In place of greed, domination, and exploitation, we stand for solidarity, friendship, and cooperation between all peoples… the working class sets into motion the means of production, distribution, and communication.” Notice they want a redistribution of wealth and a central planning economy that controls the means of production and distribution which has proven to be a disaster.
“The climate catastrophe demonstrates the disastrous self-interest of the capitalist class.” Not sure what climate change has to do with the death of George Floyd.
“The Party for Socialism and Liberation seeks to bring together leaders and organizers from the many struggles taking place across the country. The most crucial requirement for membership is the dedication to undertake this most important and most necessary of all tasks—building a new revolutionary workers’ party in the heart of world imperialism.” (Party for Socialism & Liberation)
“It is a struggle for power — not a struggle over morality or individual consumer choices.” And that’s the scary thing about people like this. They believe they are morally superior, and therefore, they get to set the rules. They determine what is right and wrong.
Once again, this is their own words. I am not putting words in their mouth. I have given you direct quotes and many people who have spoken at rallies throughout the country are part of this organization. It is not a struggle about racism and discrimination, it’s a complete takeover of the system. On their website, it openly states that they want to destroy our Constitution and our current way of life and introduce a new constitution under the banner of communism.
Antifa
The next group is one that you have heard about many times in the last few weeks. This organization is much more complex than the others because there is no charter or about us page. It’s an organization that exists within the shadows.
This is a decentralized organization that believes in leaderless resistance. Antifa is not like your normal type of special interest organization that has membership rolls. They don’t have a charter and bylaws. Instead, all individuals and groups operate independently of each other. They don’t report to a single leader or a central headquarters to get direction or instructions of their destructive activities. Coordination exists through local networks and they communicate using social media channels like Twitter, Facebook, and Reddit, and the dark web. While there isn’t a central organization, they are organized and even engage in paramilitary activities.
Another question comes down to funding. Antifa is a well-funded organization. They have an enormous amount of expensive gear that they protest with and they are extremely aggressive and violent with anyone they disagree with. They wear communication earpieces and have expensive communications equipment. They monitor local police scanners. The question is who is funding these individuals? We are not talking about chump change here. While I do have some ideas, I couldn’t find anything concrete due to the organization’s secrecy.
This is a dangerous organization. Project Veritas has some undercover video of members of Antifa, and I suggest you watch it. Project Veritas videos illustrate just how violent this organization is. (Project Veritas)
Antifa members mostly hide in the shadows, and when out causing destruction, they hide behind their black-clad gear. They don’t have a universal set of tactics. However, I believe this is changing. Antifa is growing throughout the United States, and there are Antifa branches that hold regular meetings illustrating how they are becoming more organized.
Also, having an understanding of human nature and with my emergency management & homeland security background, I understand the evolution of these types of groups and how they work. It is only natural for leaders to emerge in the local branches that plan and coordinate activities. And as time goes by, Antifa will become more centralized but operate similar to al-Qaeda and radical Islamic Terrorist organizations where they develop cells. Each cell will be independent of each other, and they will not rely on each other. This protects all cells because if one cell is infiltrated by law enforcement, they will not be able to uncover other cells that are operating in other locations.
The secrecy and anonymity make this group extremely difficult to track. In addition, it’s not really clear what the goal is. They call themselves anti-fascists, yet they want to silence anyone who disagrees with them and they will use extreme violence in order to silence anyone that runs counter to their beliefs. They hate capitalism and want to tear down the system, and while they want a socialist structure, they really don’t explain what that structure would look like.
However, the words they use are identical to all the other groups I just mentioned. Words like comrades, collective, equitable, solidarity are found throughout Antifa circles. I put them in the Marxist/communist category.
And just to illustrate there savviness, they ally themselves with other groups, and they know how to exploit unrest. In February 2017, a piece of Antifa literature was published on the It’s Going Down website. This manual encourages Antifa members to organize demonstrations against opponents with allied groups who are willing to work with them. (Forming Antifa)
Just so you are aware, the It’s Going Down site serves as “a digital community center for anarchist, anti-fascist, autonomous anti-capitalist and anti-colonial movements. Our mission is to provide a resilient platform to publicize and promote revolutionary theory and action.”
Just to give you a further look into this website before I get into the Antifa literature, they call themselves anarchists that act in the spirit of autonomy, mutual-aid, and solidarity, and “seek to build relationships and bridges with all comrades from a wide range of autonomous anti-capitalist and anti-colonial movements across the world.” Notice the keyword’s comrades and solidarity. (It’s Going Down)
Closing
And there are other organizations as well. Refuse Fascism has participated in these protests. This is an organization that was formed by members of the Revolutionary Communist Party. FTP. By Any Means Necessary and more.
And the scary part is who is funding these organizations. Now in the interest of full disclosure, I could not find out who is funding Antifa, but I have my suspicions.
But for the other groups, obviously, the first person you would think of is George Soros and his Open Society. You would be correct. But there are many other people funding these groups and we are talking big money.
The Tides Center and Foundation and New America which is also funded by George Soros. General Service Foundation, the Linked Fate Fund at the Common Counsel Foundation, the Moriah Fund, the Nathan Cummings Foundation, Open Society Foundations, the Overbrook Foundation, Sprocket Foundation, Women Donors Network, W.K. Kellogg Foundation. (Borealis Philanthropy)
However, there is far more funding going on than meets the eye and these groups are very secretive in how much money they are bringing in, as well as what they are spending the money. There is absolutely no transparency within these organizations.
It would be nice if we had investigative journalists that would actually look into the funding sources of these organizations and the money is being spent.
I think I pretty clearly showed how this is not really about the death of George Floyd. His death has been hijacked by the socialist and communist within our society in order to take down our entire system.
President Trump just announced a series of Executive Orders that begin to address policing reforms. The first President to do so. The first of these Executive Orders deal with credentialing and certifying police departments, boosting information-sharing to better track officers with excessive use-of-force complaints and creating services for addressing mental health, drug addiction, and homelessness. (CBS News)
George Floyd has sparked change. The country was unified. And it appears the President is the only one taking concrete actions. Other Republicans are silent, and Democrats continue to jump on the socialist bandwagon. And the elected officials who are demanding action, remember, these are the same people who have been in office for the last half-century and did nothing.
So, you have a President that is responding to the rational, legitimate protestors. Also, while it may not be everything the black community is seeking, regardless of how you feel about the president, his criminal justice reform and the creation of opportunity directly helps the minority communities. He has done more for the minority communities than any President in my lifetime, and that’s getting all but ignored.
Everyone should be aware of who is really behind these organizations and what these organizations are really about. Notice the same keywords they all use like collective, comrades, solidarity, and equitable.
Remember how I told you last week that we are witnessing social engineering on a massive scale, and that socialists have penetrated all aspects of our society.
We need to open people’s eyes because they are advancing. The media is covering up the truth. There is not one thing in this episode that can be disputed. I used their own words to show you what the agenda is really about. The media won’t do that because they know the minute the expose what these organizations are about, most Americans will abandon these organization.
And our media has also been infected with this socialist movement. Matt Taibbi, who I disagree with on most issues, put out a great piece about how the press is destroying itself. Matt is an honest person, and while I disagree with him on the issues, he writes from an honest perspective.
He is concerned about what’s happening and how it’s creating a press that is censoring itself out of fear of the mob. He writes, “The leaders of this new movement are replacing traditional liberal beliefs about tolerance, free inquiry, and even racial harmony with ideas so toxic and unattractive that they eschew debate, moving straight to shaming, threats, and intimidation.”

“It also guarantees that opinion writers and editors alike will shape views to avoid upsetting colleagues, which means that instead of hearing what our differences are and how we might address those issues, newspaper readers will instead be presented with page after page of people professing to agree with one another. That’s not agitation, that’s misinformation.”
But the most telling part is Taibbi’s last line where he says, “People depend on us to tell them what we see, not what we think. What good are we if we’re afraid to do it?” (Matt Taibbi)
That’s why it’s important you share this episode with others. We need to open people’s eyes to what is really going on out there. If we wake up, we can take back control of the messaging with little to no damage to the country. If we continue to bury our heads in the sand, the damage will be immense. This effort will ultimately fail on its own and it will show how socialism and anarchism are only utopian ideas in textbooks and theory. It never works out well, but the question is at what cost to our great nation.
