Episode Description
As democracy and democratic values are continuing to be undermined, the United States, and other so-called liberal democracies, hosted the Summit for Democracy. President Biden opened the Summit and there were a number of breakout sessions to explore the erosion of democratic principles and discuss ways to revitalize democracy throughout the world. Of course, there was no self-reflection of how so-called liberal democracies completely undermined the concept of democracy with their authoritarian policies and the complete lack of regard for the people they serve.

Intro
Welcome everyone to another episode of The PAS Report Podcast.
What’s up, everyone? I hope everyone is having a good week, and our thoughts and prayers go out to all those who were impacted by the devastating tornados that happened over the weekend. So many communities are still picking up the pieces and will be doing so for weeks.
It will take years for these areas to recover, and I encourage everyone out there to do what you can to help those in need especially since this happened two weeks before Christmas. Lives and communities were shattered in an instant and they will need all the help they can get.
And sadly, I have to tell you to watch out for the scams. There will be many who look to exploit these people and these communities for their own gain. Make sure to do your research and give to well-established charities where most of their operating budgets go to the actual cause and to help people rather than use the donations to pay seven-figure salaries.
As Americans, this is when we show exactly why the United States is an exceptional nation. Regardless of our political differences, when tragedy strikes, we take care of each other, and I have no doubt that this disaster will prove the same. The photos and videos are gut-wrenching, and I can only imagine what those people went through.
And my condolences to all those families who lost someone in this disaster. When you see the scale of devastation, it puts in perspective what’s most important in life. Life can change in the blink of an eye, and that’s exactly what happened here.
So, keep these people and these communities in your thoughts and prayers.
With that in mind, I have a few things I want to discuss on today’s show. I want to focus on the Summit for Democracy that was held by this administration, but before I jump in, go to the P.A.S. A Plague Upon Our House: My Fight at the Trump White House to Stop COVID from Destroying America
April Fool’s Day
So last Thursday, President Biden held what was billed as the Summit for Democracy, and just to remind everyone, we are a republic with democratic principles infused in the system.
When it comes to this Summit, I thought it was an April Fool’s joke, but it wasn’t. The purpose of this summit is because they say that democracy and democratic values are under unprecedented attack and face major challenges in the 21st century, which I certainly agree with, and they made a commitment to renewing democracy in the United States and around the world.
Now I’ve been harping about this move to authoritarianism for the last couple of years, but this summit didn’t do anything to advance the cause of democracy or democratic values and principles. In fact, this Summit did the exact opposite and continued to undermine democratic principles. It actually propped up authoritarianism by ignoring what the real threat is, and the White House did something that you would expect to see communist China do. You certainly wouldn’t expect to see something like this at a so-called Summit for Democracy.
Over the last couple of years, we’ve witnessed chief executives’ rule by decree, bypassing legislative bodies, which is a hallmark of democracy. We’ve witnessed these same petty tyrants violating their own edicts. We’ve witnessed a complete disregard for Constitutional norms and our liberties. We’ve witnessed an unprecedented assault on the freedom of speech, the freedom to assemble, the freedom to practice our faith, the freedom of movement, the right to privacy, due process, and so many others.
Over the last couple of years, we’ve witnessed unelected bureaucrats who believe they can do whatever they want and don’t have to answer to the people. These officials have deemed when us peasants can celebrate holidays when we can leave their homes when we can open our businesses. We’ve seen officials who have no regard for the long-term consequences of their authoritarian policies. They have no regard for the effect it’s having on an entire generation of kids who are being raised to fear a virus that has a 99.96% survival rate for their age demographic.
We’ve seen officials lay-off tens of thousands of nurses, police officers, firefighters, EMS, and who knows, it may be hundreds of thousands, all because they didn’t comply with the little Mussolini wannabes. Last year, these people worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic and were celebrated as heroes. This year, they’re enemies of the state, and their lives and livelihoods must be destroyed.
In other so-called liberal democracies, we’ve seen dogs and puppies killed in the name of coronavirus. We’ve seen people ripped from their homes and forced into mandatory quarantine facilities even though they tested negative for coronavirus. We’ve seen people imprisoned in their own homes.
Just the other day you had lord Fauci, the embodiment of science himself, well, I’ll let him tell you. Take a listen
Sound Clip Fauci
You hear that. If we need boosters, we just have to deal with it. It doesn’t matter what you think. It doesn’t matter what you need or want. It doesn’t matter what your doctor says. The embodiment of science himself has decreed that we will deal with it. Now does that sound like an official from a so-called liberal democracy or does that sound like a petty tyrant?
But remember, it’s about saving lives so just shut up and obey. Wear your mask or you’ll kill grandma and grandpa. Get your vaccine. Get your booster because it’s about saving lives. You don’t want to be the super spreader during Christmas. In fact, the embodiment of science also said that if you are having family and friends over for the holidays, that you should require guests to show proof of vaccination.
That’s right. That’s how demented these officials are. These people are the antithesis to democracy or democratic values.
And the threat to democracy goes far beyond the government’s responses to the coronavirus. Here in the United States, we witnessed our premier law enforcement agency target a duly elected President based on nothing more than lies. They pushed these lies, doctored evidence, and presented it to the Courts, particularly the FISA Court, even though it was all based on a myth. We witnessed the intelligence apparatus focus more on our President than on our adversaries.
We’ve witnessed ordinary Americans be labeled as domestic terrorists all because they had the audacity to push back against school boards about what their children are learning and the fact that their children have to be masked for 6-8 hours a day. (House)
Rather than stop real criminals as murders and violent crime soar and organized theft rings are increasing dramatically only becoming more brazen as the government has ordered law enforcement agencies to stand down, the DOJ and this administration ignore the obvious and have decided to target political opponents under the guise of domestic terrorism as opposed to stopping the real crime that’s destroying our communities.
But you’re not allowed to say these things out loud. According to the leftist narrative, crime isn’t really surging. In fact, they say it’s a myth. There is no surge in violent crime. There’s no surge in murders as 12 cities, all controlled by Democrats, recorded record-breaking homicide levels that haven’t been seen in decades.
There are no organized theft rings. That was just one Walgreens. Don’t believe all those other videos your seeing of these smash and grabs.

Breaking Down the Summit for Democracy
So, if the so-called liberal democracies didn’t discuss how authoritarian they’ve become since the coronavirus pandemic first started, what did they talk about? What are the threats to democracy and democratic principles that they highlighted?
I’m glad you asked. First, I’m going to go through the President’s remarks, then I’ll tell you about some of the round table discussions.
President Biden states there are three things to blame for the erosion of Democracy. Take a listen.
Sound Clip Biden
See, according to President Biden, it’s not really anything the so-called liberal democracies are doing. It’s not their fault. Instead, it’s the autocrats around the world, and within these countries, who are undermining democracies and democratic values.
Who Are the Autocrats?
When you hear the word autocrat, you probably think of someone like Vladimir Putin and Russia, Xi Jinping and Communist China, President Erdogan of Turkey.
However, I want you to consider this, an autocrat is someone who insists on complete obedience. Sure, those leaders I just mentioned are autocratic and have authoritarian tendencies, but I really want you to think about what President Biden said, “They seek to advance their own power, export and expand their influence around the world, and justify their repressive policies and practices as a more efficient way to address today’s challenges. That’s how it’s sold.”
Now, when you hear that, what comes to your mind? When you think of complete obedience, who may come to mind? I constantly promote the concepts of liberty. I constantly call on the government to return the power to the people. I constantly call for limited government and believe that ordinary people can decide what’s in their own and their community’s best interests. Does that sound autocratic to you?
Now think about the real autocrats. The ones who scream at people to mask up and implement astronomical fines to effectively shut down any business that won’t enforce their unconstitutional decrees. Call me crazy, but I would say forcing students to ask if they can pull down their masks to take a sip of water is pretty autocratic.
Wouldn’t it be autocrats who attempt to segregate society based on vaccination status? Wouldn’t it be autocrats that would implement a vaccine passport and make these passports a requirement to participate in society? All to punish and isolate those who won’t obey and comply until you have forced compliance?
Isn’t it autocratic to rip people from their homes and force them into mandatory quarantine camps? Isn’t it autocratic to label parents, who push back in school boards and are expressing several fundamental rights essential to democracy like Freedom of Speech, Freedom to Assemble, Freedom to Petition for Redress? These school board meetings are democracy at work. Only autocrats would threaten the domestic terrorist label.
I’m just saying, who sounds more autocratic? People like me who are calling for a return of our Constitutional principles. Who would like to see these issues get debated in the legislature as opposed to allowing chief executives and unelected bureaucrats to rule by emergency decree or people like this?
I don’t know about you, but I’m going to have to say that a President going out there and telling the American people that his and his team’s “patience is wearing thin” sounds very autocratic.
I really wonder. Does anyone at the White House actually look at the speeches after the speech is written? Seriously, you would think someone at the White House would have said, “Hey guys, you may want to refine this because the President’s opponents can point out our projection.”

Societal Division and Political Polarization
Moving on to the second point President Biden made where he said democracy is under threat by “voices that seek to fan the flames of societal division and political polarization.”
Is he friggin kidding me? I’d like someone to ask him who is he talking about. Of course, no one will, but it is a worthwhile question. Now, I am sure he is talking about anyone that opposes him. See, in this brave new world, you’re not allowed to have a different opinion. If you do, you face the threat of being deemed a domestic terrorist by this administration. You’ll be labeled as a racist or a white supremacist.
See, when it comes to this administration and the left, they always project. Ask yourself, who are the ones that really fan the flames of societal division and political polarization?
Because I would argue if we focused on the media industrial complex, they constantly try to stoke racial fear and hatred. They constantly demonize anyone who dissents from their narrow-minded points of view. Remember, these are the people who use words like deprogram, reeducate, purge from society when talking about ordinary Americans who supported the last President.
I would argue that President Biden fans the flames of societal division and political polarization when he repeatedly invokes the idea of segregation, Jim Crow, and tells Black audiences that Republicans want to put them “back in chains.” I would argue that Speaker Pelosi fanned the flames when she called Republicans in Congress the enemies of the people.
When they’re talking about societal division and political polarization, it’s never their fault. It’s always your fault. These people have zero sense of self-awareness.
Give People Stuff
Going to the third point that President Biden brought up, “And perhaps most importantly and worrying of all — most worrying of all, by increasing the dissatisfaction of people all around the world with democratic governments that they feel are failing to deliver for their needs.”
Basically, the President is saying that democracy only exists if it delivers every need for every person but giving people stuff isn’t democracy. There’s something called self-reliance and personal responsibility. The government does not exist to provide us with every need and want.
In fact, it’s one of the big reasons we have a republic. Our founding fathers understood that people would naturally make demands on the government, even if it went against the nation’s self-interest, and even if it goes against their own self-interests. The founders were keenly aware that majorities can be tyrannical. They were also aware of the dangers of elected officials bowing to the whims of the mob. Elected officials have to practice what’s called statesmanship. They must listen to the people, but also temper their expectations as to what the government can and cannot do.
But what President Biden is saying is that in order to strengthen democracy, we must adopt a socialist vision. How do you think that will work out for democracy? It really does amaze me how ignorant people are of history. They’re constantly screaming for socialist policies even though socialism has failed in nearly every country it’s been tried.
And to all the dumb-dumbs out there that are going to scream, “we want democratic socialism like the Scandinavian nations, not socialism.” Just so everyone is aware, countries like Norway, Finland, Denmark, and Sweden, are not democratic socialist nations. They are capitalist nations, although, with the exception of Sweden, many of these countries have thrown away democratic principles during the coronavirus pandemic.
The Summit Panels
The panels at the Summit for Democracy were just as pathetic. One panel was entitled, “Media Freedom and Sustainability.” The intent of this panel was to highlight the importance of media safety, freedom, and sustainability in the health and vitality of democratic societies. Yes, the same democratic societies that have called for Fox News and Newsmax to be taken off the air. The same democratic society that has de-platformed hundreds of independent journalists all because they are just that, they’re independent. The same democratic society where the government routinely monitors media outlets that dare to question government policies.
But even worse was President Biden. Again, you can’t make this stuff up. A week or two ago, the President’s team rounded up members of the press and begged them to give President Biden and the administration more favorable coverage. (NY Post) According to team Biden and his cheerleaders, aka the media, they believe that President Biden is receiving more negative coverage than President Trump. These people are absolutely demented, but it really shows how little regard they have for us. They really believe that we’re so dumb that we’ll believe this nonsense.
Sure enough, many in the media capitulated and we started to see headlines like thanks to Biden gas prices decline by 7-cents. Yeah, you know where they can shove that 7-cents. Other headlines talked about how inflation is really a good thing, and we’re just too dumb to realize it. Then you have articles that are warning other members of the press that if they give Biden negative coverage, they’re really helping former President Trump. They’re insane.
What they should have been discussing is how the mainstream press outlets and the government are morphing into one, and the threat to democracy that’s posed when the media pushes a political agenda rather than reports on the news.

The Lines Blur Between the Private Sector and the Government
Another panel was entitled, “Our Business Too: Democracy and Private Enterprise Delivering Together.” The panel should have really been entitled when the corporate world pushes a political agenda eliminating the boundaries between the government and the private sector. Basically, this panel was nothing more than the government giving the corporate world its marching orders on what social agendas to push. Of course, the private sector must push the social justice narrative in order to be considered pro-democratic.
One of the hallmarks of democracy is that we elect people to represent us in legislative bodies. Those legislators then weigh the needs and the demands of the people, and the needs and demands of the state. The legislative branch is perhaps the most important element to the concept of democratic principles.
In the United States, just look at what the private sector has done. We’ve had the private sector punish businesses and states whenever they deviate from the established political agenda of the globalists and the far-left. Don’t believe me, here are just a few examples.
In 2018, Citigroup announced they would no longer offer loans or store-branded credit cards for any business selling guns to people younger than 21 regardless of what state laws say. Bank of America announced it would no longer issue loans to companies that manufacture what they deem are “military-style rifles.” (CBS News) So it doesn’t matter that a state legislative body, duly elected by the people, established the legal age to own a firearm. Because Citigroup doesn’t like it, they are going to punish any business that defies Citigroup’s gun policy. I don’t recall ever electing Citigroup to develop any state’s firearm policy. And Bank of America is basically stating they get to decide what firearms can be sold and which ones can’t. At the same time, understand, that these entities routinely and willingly turn customer data over to the government.
Another issue we’ve seen repeatedly throughout the country is whenever a state makes a law that impacts abortion or defines gender as being established when someone is born. The states that passed these laws received severe blowback from some of the top corporations. We’ve seen Hollywood production companies announce they would no longer do business in these states. Essentially, they are threatening to do economic harm to the state because the state followed legislative procedures, passed a law, and that law was signed by a governor.
Dicks Sporting Goods banned the sale of firearms and Delta Airlines ended its discount programs for NRA members. (Vox)
Microsoft sued the last administration over the former President’s decision to end DACA. (Microsoft)
But the most notorious of all these incidents was the Georgia voting law, where multiple corporations, including Major League Baseball, decided to inflict major economic punishments to the state of Georgia all based on a law that they didn’t even read and knew nothing about. Instead, they went with President Biden’s talking points that it’s a return to Jim Crow and Segregation.
Because of that, a lot of companies boycotted Georgia, and Major League Baseball pulled the All-Star Game from Georgia costing Atlanta millions upon millions of dollars. Truly disgraceful.
Is anyone really going to argue with me that the blurring of the lines between the corporate world and the government leads to a stronger, more vibrant democracy? Because this looks pretty authoritarian to me. When you get the corporate world inflicting punishment on states because state legislative bodies, who were elected by the people, dared to pass laws that have nothing to do with these industries’ main line of business, yeah, that’s a huge threat to democracy.
Democracy Affirming Technology- WTF
There were several panels about democracy and technology. One of the panels was a discussion on “Democracy-Affirming Technology: How Innovation Can Be Used to Support democratic Values.”
Basically, the basis of the discussion was that authoritarians have been “hard at work making technology work for autocracy.
Do you think they discussed how big tech silenced Miranda Devine and the New York Post during the 2020 election because they dared to report on Hunter Biden’s laptop? I mean stories like this destroyed political candidacies in the past and the American people deserve to know the extent of the Biden family business. A business that’s based on nothing more than corruption and access. This was a legitimate story, but the big tech powers decided they get to determine what the people can see and what they can’t. These tech giants decided to go all in to protect President Biden. I wonder why? I doubt this panel discussed how the tech giants decided that they get to determine who has freedom of the press and who doesn’t.
Do you think this panel discussed the blatant double standard when it comes to internet censorship against conservatives or how companies like Google have routinely de-platformed tons of conservative commentators? I doubt it.
I wonder if this panel discussed how the Biden administration was flagging social media posts for Facebook to censor. Nothing says democracy like having the government determine what can and can’t be posted online.

Pandemia: How Coronavirus Hysteria Took Over Our Government, Rights, and Lives
Closing
However, there was one incident that pretty much epitomizes the farce the Summit for Democracy was. A Taiwanese minister was speaking and presenting a PowerPoint slide. On one of the slides, there was a map that had Taiwan a different color than China, signifying Taiwan’s independence.
And what did the White House do? They censored it. They censored it and cut the feed. I mean, once again, the lack of self-awareness is really astounding. Did anyone at the White House stand up and say, “Hey, if we cut the feed, this will undercut the entire point of the Summit for Democracy.”

Again, nothing says democracy and democratic principles like censoring Taiwan and doing the bidding of the Chinese Communist Party. That will surely make democracy much more resilient.
Do we try to find the dumbest people to run this country? I’m serious. When you have this many dumb people running our country, and these other so-called liberal democracies, it can’t be by accident. It has to take some level of effort to put this many dumb people in charge.
This Summit would be hysterical if it wasn’t so sad. Again, everything they discussed at this Summit for Democracy, we’re guilty of, and so are most of these other countries with the exception of Sweden and maybe a handful of others. I provided specific and concrete examples illustrating that everything they warn about, they themselves are guilty of.
And they never bring up the real threats to our democratic institutions, particularly the damage that’s been done during the COVID era. They undermined democratic values any which way they could. They decided to throw all norms out the window, and rule as the petty tyrants they are.
Well, I for one say no more. No more allowing these officials to do and say what they want. No more allowing these officials to rule by decree. No more allowing these officials to usurp the authority of the people. No more taking advantage of a crisis to push a political agenda.
I think people are done. I know I will not comply with the decrees, and if everyone stands together, these decrees will go by the wayside.
