Episode Description
The United States was founded on the principles of limited government and individual liberty. The founding fathers envisioned a government that had a minimal role in the lives of its citizens, with power divided between the federal and state governments. However, today’s administrative state is a far cry from this vision. Ask yourself- has the administrative state made life easier or harder? Has it been beneficial or detrimental to our country and its people?

Welcome to The P.A.S. Report Podcast.
If you have been a devoted listener of this podcast, you would have heard me fiercely denounce the government, its policies, the politicians, and the bureaucrats. But let’s be honest with ourselves, the blame cannot be solely laid at their feet. While they do bear a significant portion of responsibility, we cannot absolve ourselves of our share of the blame.
It is time recognize and confront our role in this mess. The truth is, the majority of us are woefully ignorant of our history and founding principles. We are oblivious to the fact that our nation’s genesis lies in the Declaration of Independence and the subsequent creation of the Constitution. This document remains one of the most consequential in history.
Astoundingly, the overwhelming majority of people have never even read it. This is not a matter of partisan politics. We must all acknowledge our complicity and take responsibility for our collective ignorance.
It is this ignorance that has led to a deviation from the principles of limited government, paving the way for the rise of the administrative state.
We were founded on the bedrock of limited government and individual liberty for a reason. We wanted a government that feared and respected its citizens. A government that played a minimal role in the lives of its people, with power divided between the federal and state governments.
However, today’s administrative state is a far cry from this vision.
If we scrutinize the countless problems we face today, we must concede that many of these problems exist because of the administrative state, not in spite of it, and often, it was at our request.
All too often, we look to the government to resolve our problems, and in doing so, we bestow upon them more and more power. Let me ask you this: what has been the result? What issues have they actually resolved? Has the growth of the administrative state made life simpler or more complex? Has it been beneficial or detrimental to our nation and its citizens?
