Intro
Welcome everyone to another episode of The PAS Report Weekly Roundup Podcast. This is your host Nick Giordano.
I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving and was able to spend some time with friends and family. As the holiday season is here, the impeachment debacle continues.
A lot of news coming down the pike this week. Kamala Harris announced she is dropping out of the Presidential race. I’m not surprised, but in full disclosure, I predicted she would win the Democrat nomination, but that was before she had the meltdown over the summer. I should have waited. This should be a lesson to all Presidential candidates. Be authentic and don’t be wishy-washy when it comes to policies. Take a stand and tell voters what you believe. You cannot be anything and everything to everyone.
So, today, I want this episode to focus on the new phase of impeachment where I will point out the many flaws with this charade.
Also, the bureaucratic swamp is now coming out in anticipation of the Inspector General’s FISA abuse report. They are fighting back and want to control the narrative portraying themselves as victims. This is a pathetic attempt of some of these people, and they deserve to be called out for their unprofessional, and potentially criminal behavior.

The Schiff Report
The imbecile, Congressman Adam Schiff, has written a report that attempts to justify the impeachment of President Trump. Sadly, I wasted precious time reading this report. There is no new information except that Democrats are going to heavily lean on obstruction of justice which illustrates the weakness of their case.
If this report attempts to justify impeaching the President and persuade the public, the report is an epic fail. Nowhere in the report does it allege bribery and treason, yet all we heard about was quid-pro-quo, extortion, and bribery. In previous weeks, I debunked the myth of treason and bribery.
So, it has to come down to a high crime or misdemeanor. Well, now that his report has been written, please inform us on what exactly the President did that constitutes a high crime or misdemeanor. The obstruction argument is ridiculous. They are basing the obstruction claim on the fact that the President did not comply with a Congressional subpoena.
That’s laughable on so many levels. First, if Congress wanted the subpoena’s enforced, why didn’t they go to the courts? That would have been the appropriate method.
Secondly, if we are now going to impeach Presidents based on not complying with a Congressional subpoena, then nearly all future presidents will be impeached, and many past Presidents would have been impeached. Remember, former Attorney General Eric Holder was subpoenaed by Congress and failed to comply with the support of then-President Obama. Should President Obama have been impeached for that?
Democrats are setting a dangerous precedent going forward, and as I constantly remind the audience, remember, what one party does when they are in power, the other party will do when they get into power, and usually, they will take it a step further. (Intelligence Committee Report)
We cannot call this a Congressional report like some Democrats are claiming. This is a majority report that was done without any input from the minority. This is not a Congressional document. This is all about politics and nothing more.
The impeachment parade goes to the Judiciary Committee
And we clearly see how it is all about politics as the impeachment inquiry now heads to hearings in the Judiciary Committee.
First, Chairman Jerry Nadler, another incompetent moron, scheduled the hearings for this week while the President is attending a NATO summit overseas. This is disrespectful not just to the President, but to the United States as a whole.
The NATO summit has been on the calendar for a year. Chairman Nadler certainly knew the President would be overseas. He could have easily scheduled the hearings for next week, but instead to do the hearings while the President is representing the United States with foreign leaders.
Nothing but a slap in the face to all of us. All media focus will be on impeachment. Every question President Trump and foreign leaders receive will center around impeachment. Impeachment will be the backdrop of every NATO meeting and weakens the President on the international stage.
Congressman Nadler should be ashamed of himself and this is an insult. Instead of focusing on impeachment this week, how about the House does its damn job and debates and votes on the USMCA. God Forbid Congress actually puts partisan politics aside for one week. These are pathetic creatures, and the sad part is we consistently reelect these bozos.
Another problem I have with Nadler’s hearings is the subject matter and witnesses that are scheduled to testify. Basically, Nadler has invited academics to discuss if what the President did rises to the level of an impeachable offense. He will be bringing academics from the Ivy League schools to testify. Gee, I wonder what most of them are going to say. Let’s cherry-pick these elitists, where everyone knows that the academic elite can’t stand the President and are overwhelmingly liberal and let them determine what an impeachable offense is. Do you really believe the witnesses aren’t hand-selected? They certainly won’t bring me in, and we already know that 3 of the 4 will say the President should be impeached.
Sorry, but if you are going down the impeachment road, the offense should be glaringly obvious. If a high crime or misdemeanor doesn’t jump out at everyone, then you probably shouldn’t be impeaching the President in the first place.
The House of Representatives is absolutely useless under the current leadership. If you need academics to tell you what an impeachable offense is, what is your purpose.
We are dividing our nation- for what?
The Swamp speaks up
What’s the whole purpose of this B.S. political impeachment when everyone already knows how it ends? Maybe Congress should do its damn job. Perhaps they should hold hearings about what’s happening in South America. It seems like I am one of the few who actually has pointed to the catastrophe that awaits us if we start to see countries collapse.
Perhaps, Congress should do its job and start conducting oversight hearings over a bureaucracy that seems to be abusing power and out of control.
There are real issues with real consequences, but they don’t care about the things that actually matter.
This week Lisa Page came out in public, one week before Inspector general Horowitz is supposed to release his report, and she is trying to defend herself. It’s amazing how the topics I discuss a week ahead of time become one of the main stories the following week.
The Swamp is fighting back and wants to control the narrative.
She already knows what the report says about her. Remember the report has to be provided to all individuals implicated in the report and give them an opportunity to refute the IG’s findings.
So, she wants to control the narrative and she is doing so by making it as if she is the victim. She is saying that there is a quote, “no fathomable way I have committed any crime at all.” So that tells me there is something there.
She goes on to say, “I had stayed quiet for years hoping it would fade away, but instead it got worse,” she says. “It had been so hard not to defend myself, to let people who hate me control the narrative. I decided to take my power back.”
This is the Swamp at it’s finest. They never take accountability for their own actions. For their own shortcomings or their own failures. Instead, they try to blame others for their demise.
But that doesn’t work. The text messages sent between Strzok and Page are in their own words. They are clear and plain. The disdain and hatred for the President, and more importantly the people, are on full display.
She goes on, “While it would be nice to have the IG confirm publicly that my personal opinions had absolutely no bearing on the course of the Russia investigations, I don’t kid myself that the fact will matter very much for a lot of people. The president has a very loud megaphone.”
She really has to be demented to think anyone will buy that nonsense. As I said last week, you can’t have that much hatred and not let it impact your work. She was involved in investigating Hillary Clinton, who she was actively rooting for, and she was also investigating President Trump. She showed no professionalism and did not have enough self-control or self-awareness to think that she should be sending inappropriate text messages about a person she was investigating. Especially on FBI phones. And she should have recused herself.
Imagine she was investigating someone who was later charged with a criminal offense, and these texts came out. A judge could rule that the charges be dismissed because of the inappropriateness.
And then she has the gall to say, “It’s like being punched in the gut. My heart drops to my stomach when I realize he has tweeted about me again. The president of the United States is calling me names to the entire world. He’s demeaning me and my career. It’s sickening.”
Really. He’s demeaning you and your career? You demeaned yourself and destroyed your own career. The sad part is, she probably did some good work in her career that she should be proud of. She probably has some accomplishments. Yet, she pissed it all away because she couldn’t control herself. Because of her petty superficial hatred of the President, she destroyed her own career and has no one else to blame.
The fact that she is trying to play the victim card is sad and pathetic. She claims to be intimidated by the President. “But it’s also very intimidating because he’s still the president of the United States. And when the president accuses you of treason by name, despite the fact that I know there’s no fathomable way that I have committed any crime at all, let alone treason, he’s still somebody in a position to actually do something about that. To try to further destroy my life. It never goes away or stops, even when he’s not publicly attacking me.” (The Daily Beast)
Boo friggin’ hoo. I have no sympathy for Lisa Page. She was in a vital position of public trust and she violated every oath she took. She did a disservice to this country, and to you, the people. Lisa Page is not an innocent bystander, and we need to send the message, loud and clear, that this type of behavior will not be tolerated
Closing
The crazy part is when the press covers Melania Trump, they viciously attack her. The first lady is one of the most graceful I have ever seen. She’s smart and has charisma. Yet the left and the media constantly attack and make fun of her.
Never once has Melania ever played the victim card. She keeps her head held high and ignores the attacks.
On the other hand, you have Lisa Page who is celebrated in many media circles. Most in the advocacy news media never criticize her, and many democrats attempt to make excuses for her.
It’s an interesting juxtaposition when you look at how they treat the First Lady compared to Lisa Page. Truly amazing and tells you everything you need to know about these creatures.
