As the midterm elections rapidly approach, polls seem to be trending towards the Republicans. Historically, the party in power usually suffers during the midterm elections. As Americans grow increasingly polarized, will the people overlook the failed agenda and vote to keep Democrats in power or are they so fed-up that they are ready to make a change? Intro
Welcome to The P.A.S. Report Podcast.
We are less than two weeks away from the all-important midterm elections where the voters will decide who controls the House and the Senate. Several states also have very important races, including here in New York where since 2007, the democrats have controlled the governorship, and since 2018, the democrats have had a supermajority in New York State.
The question is- will the people turn out to utterly reject the democrat agenda? Will people say enough to the skyrocketing inflation, the war on energy, the high prices, the crime, the failed education system, the homelessness, the open borders, or just about any other issue you can think of?
The public sentiments have been shifting towards the Republicans in recent weeks, and so will this trend continue through election day?
It’s going to be interesting to see what happens. Polls are certainly shifting in the Republican’s favor.
I also think pollsters are underestimating the number of people that may pull the lever for Republicans. Consider that as the election draws closer, historically, the undecideds usually shift towards the minority party when you factor in the current levels of dissatisfaction with this administration and the Democrat agenda.
Also, I don’t believe the polls can take into account those who haven’t voted in decades but are fed-up and genuinely concerned about the direction this country is headed in.
These are people who usually stay out of politics, but given how their economic situations have changed, the number of families that are struggling and facing real hardships, as well as the increase in senseless crime in every major city, how many of those who haven’t participated in the political process in decades will decide to turn out and vote?
Well, in less than two weeks, we are going to find out.
I’m going to talk about the importance of this election, what it means, as well as the negative influences throughout our society.
I believe that this negativity may be the driving force behind the surge in polls. It’s also important that Republicans and their voters don’t get too comfortable. That they don’t take anything for granted and get too cocky and arrogant. Given everything, if they want to win in the midterm elections, they need to overperform. If a poll has a race marked as tied or even if the Republican is up a point or two, they must act as if they are 3-4 points down.

Xi’s Rise to Dominate the Communist Party
Before I get to today’s topic, I want to just bring up Xi Jinping’s solidifying his power over China and the communist party. It was remarkable what happened over the weekend. On Saturday, the communist party congress of China was holding the closing ceremonies after appointing Xi to another term, essentially consolidating Xi’s hold on power.
In a stunning scene, the former president, Hu Jintao, was seated next to Xi when someone walks over and attempts to take Hu Jintao out. The man is trying to lift him by the arm and then tries to lift him from under his armpits. During the incident, Hu Jintao tries to grab a piece of paper next to him, and Xi quickly puts his hand on the paper.
Another handler then comes up. You can clearly see that Jintao did not want to go, and as he is being escorted out, he says something to Xi, and Xi, without even looking at Jintao, just nods his head as he looks forward.
Most of the others in the front row were stoic throughout the ordeal, and many of them also looked forward throughout. The people seated in the rows behind dutiful kept masked up and said nothing. It reminded me of the video of when Saddam Hussein took over Iraq in 1979, where at the Baath Party meeting, one by one Baath Party officials were taken out never to be seen again.
The communist news agencies came out and said that Hu wasn’t feeling well, but that’s a bunch of nonsense. The video is crystal clear on what happened, and reportedly, search results for “Hu Jintao” on Chinese platforms are being censored. Hu is part of the old guard of the communist party, and it seems that Xi Jinping is looking to purge anyone who represents any type of threat to his leadership. It was a remarkable scene, and it signifies Xi’s consolidation of power similar to Mao, as well as China’s continued rise.
Unmasked: Inside Antifa’s Radical Plan to Destroy Democracy
As China Rises, the Biden Administration Dithers
As Communist China continues to rise, the Biden administration continues to dither with policies that do nothing to strengthen the United States. Nothing to improve our standing in the international community, and nothing to ease the economic pain most Americans are feeling.
That’s why there is so much at stake in the midterm elections, and while it’s easy to just lay all the failures on the Biden administration, the reality is President Biden is simply implementing the Democrat agenda.
An agenda aimed at dividing Americans based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, and any other difference you can think of. An agenda based on nothing more than power and control.
Consider last week how the CDC unanimously voted to include the covid vaccination amongst the list of recommended vaccinations for students. They are pushing for states to make the shot mandatory.
Think about how sick that is. The shot does not prevent the spread and transmission. We now have enough data to know that the shot’s effects are a bigger risk to young people than covid itself. Countries around the world have banned the shot for anyone under the age of 30, and in some countries, they banned it for anyone under the age of 40.
Why are officials here pushing so hard for these shots, especially for children? They know the risks so the only thing I can think of is that they are ideologically vested in this. That they want to push it simply because they think they can, but I believe they’re in for a rude awakening.
Even parents that I know who took covid seriously. Who did everything they were told by the government, including getting the shot and several boosters, even many of them don’t want this shot anywhere near their kids? I’ve spoken to some of these people, and they adamantly say there is no way in hell they would get their kids the shot.
The public health sector and many of our officials got drunk on power throughout the pandemic, and I think they have overreached big time. Notice how none of the Democrats are campaigning about mandatory vaccinations for children. However, how quickly would they push a mandate the second they get elected or reelected into office?
Just think about New York. Remember, how empress Hochul told the vaccinated to be her apostles, and how she wears a vaccinated necklace. Do you really think she won’t mandate the shot in kids? She should be asked about, but don’t let them fool you. They have pushed the unconstitutional mandates under the justification that they are following CDC recommendations, and this will be no different.
This is simply one example of what is at stake in the midterm elections.
Find the perfect tires!
Life is More Difficult, but the Midterm Elections Can Change That
The truth is that the choice in the midterm elections is fairly simple and extremely consequential. If you are satisfied with the direction of the country, and your state, then keep what you have in office.
If you aren’t satisfied, then why would you vote for those whose policies made your life more difficult? I know the Democrats like to blame anything and everyone else for the terrible conditions, and many of them are devoid of reality. They refuse to acknowledge or take ownership of their policies, but their policies are what brought us to this moment.
They say high energy prices are not their fault even though they are the ones pushing a radical energy agenda. They have repeatedly remarked how Americans need to feel the pain at the pump to force them to buy an electric vehicle they may not want and certainly cannot afford. They say we are drilling more now than ever before. That’s a lie. When they say we are producing more oil today, they are also including the barrels of oil this administration released from the Strategic Petroleum Reserves. It’s lies and manipulation.
When it comes to inflation, they say every country is facing high inflation, and that it’s not their fault. First of all, no. Not every country is facing the inflation rate we’re facing, and those countries that are facing similar inflation rates are because they implemented the same dumb policies we did. They just printed money. Also, as the economic leader of the world, as our inflation increases, so too does the inflation of other countries, especially those that are economically reliant on us, and may use our currency. Finally, when it comes to inflation, even Democrat economists warned the Biden administration that the last pandemic stimulus was unnecessary and would trigger inflation. Those warnings were ignored, and the Democrats forged ahead with it anyway. Then they passed another whopping $1 trillion infrastructure bill. They said it’s paid for, but we all knew it was BS and we just printed more money. Then the administration announced its unconstitutional $500 billion student loan forgiveness plan. That’s been temporarily blocked by the federal courts, and I highly doubt it will go through, but if it does, it means printing more money that will only make the inflation problem worse. Have you heard any Democrats talking about fiscal responsibility? That’s not to say Republicans will be any better, but my goodness, the path we are on is unsustainable and all the Democrats talk about is spending more money.
They say that the supply chain shortage is not because of them, yet it was the little Mussolini wannabes that determined what businesses were essential and which ones weren’t during the pandemic. They were the ones to deem truck driving schools as nonessential, and then when they finally reopened, good luck scheduling a road test. They weren’t doing road tests because of draconian and illogical social distancing policies. But of course, they say they aren’t to blame for the supply chain issues.
When it comes to the massive increase in anxiety and depression, particularly in children, they don’t take any responsibility for their own actions. They dismiss their draconian decrees calling for lockdowns and other pandemic policies which are directly to blame for the increase in depression and anxiety. We are animals, and we need to interact with other human beings. By socially isolating us, they created an entire generation that is cognitively, socially, and academically behind where they should be. These policies also increased those inflicting self-harm and it increased violence and misbehavior in schools. Just ask any K-12 teachers whether the behavioral problems of students have improved or worsened following the pandemic, and they will tell you that the problem is out of control.
And speaking of schools in the midterm elections, the Department of Education just released the National Report Card showing the largest drop in proficiency ratings in 30 years. Since I started the podcast, I have been harping on the fact that our education system has collapsed. Last week I did an entire episode on how standards have been lowered for the last few decades. I explained how 12th grade textbooks are written at the 7th grade reading level. How our schools have failed, and how bureaucrats continue to push issues like gender theory and critical race theory, rather than focus on basic facts and teaching the students how to think critically. They want to blame COVID, but it wasn’t COVID, it was their policies that led to this decline. While the pandemic may have exacerbated the problem, this outcome was inevitable. You can only hold up the house of cards for so long before the failures are exposed.
What about the academic achievement gap? The Democrats constantly accuse their political opponents of racism. They accuse their opponents of white supremacy. They accuse their opponents of not caring about the plight of minorities in urban areas. They accuse their opponents of not caring about those on the lower socioeconomic scale. Yet, it was their collusion with the teacher unions that kept schools closed in the urban areas for nearly two years. It was the American Federation of Teachers that pushed state and local officials to require remote learning which isn’t learning at all, and then the president of the AFT, Randi Weingarten, has the nerve to visit Ukraine while ignoring the failing schools here at home. Take Baltimore as the perfect example. Only 11% of students meet basic proficiency levels in the subject material. That’s criminal if you ask me. Every single person from the lower socioeconomic communities, including minorities, should be bitter and resentful that their children were shut out of school for nearly two years, while most students in the suburbs returned to school far earlier. Also, when you look at the academic achievement gap, those with the means were able to hire tutors to make sure their child didn’t fall behind, but those who were economically disadvantaged did not have those opportunities. Disgraceful.
What about the drug epidemic? Not their fault. It has nothing to do with the fact that they called for open borders. It has nothing to do with the fact that they crippled ICE and Border Patrol. They say that the increase in overdose deaths isn’t related to their policies. In fact, many of them blame those who died from the drug. They constantly talk about American demand and say that the American people are the problem. Amazing how they rarely blame the cartels and the porous border. Here’s the problem though. The current opioid epidemic and the deaths associated with it are much different than the problems of the past. Michael Gray explains it well when he talks about the paradigm shift. Many of the people dying from these synthetic opioids never had any substance abuse issues. These aren’t your 1980 crack addicts. These are people that made one fatal error. They took something that they had no idea was laced with fentanyl. They thought that maybe they were trying a prescription drug like oxycodone or Vicodin. Some smoked pot that was laced with fentanyl. Some may have done cocaine laced with fentanyl. Some thought they were taking headache medicine. But the increase in overdose deaths is astounding, and they do nothing. They haven’t introduced any obstacles to make it more difficult to import these drugs.
Speaking of the border, when it comes to the record-breaking numbers crossing over the southern border, they continue to deny reality. They deny that the border is wide open. They lie and manipulate saying that the surge is the former President’s fault. Some even go further, like Secretary Mayorkas and our Border Czar, Vice President Kamala Harris, who say the border is secure even though we can all see the videos for ourselves. We continue to witness the failed border policies, and it costs taxpayers an extraordinary amount of money, but they don’t care. As long as the migrants aren’t going into their communities. We all saw the reaction when Governor DeSantis sent a few dozen migrants to Martha’s Vineyard. Within 44 hours the residents of Martha’s Vineyard called in the military to kick the migrants out. Washington DC officials openly complain that it’s unfair that Texas is sending migrants their way and turning them into a “border town.” The hypocrisy is stunning, but they have no shame.
When examining the surge in crime, who were the ones that called for defunding police? Who called for getting rid of qualified immunity for police officers? Who passed bail reform, one of the worst policies ever pushed? And who are the ones that suffer the most from the surge in violent crime, particularly the senseless crimes we are witnessing day in and day out? Now, you have people like Kathy Hochul saying she supports more police officers on the streets. Of course, she does. It’s less than two weeks until the election. She will say anything. Also, more officers aren’t going to lower crime. First, we are having trouble getting recruits. Who the hell would want to be a cop right now? Secondly, and more importantly, the root of the problem is bail reform, emptying out the prisons, and ideological attorney generals and DAs who don’t enforce the laws already on the books. They preach about gun violence and call for gun control. If they really cared about gun violence, why are they dropping gun charges for violent offenders, especially considering that these aren’t legal firearms? Until you tackle that problem, you’re not going to stop the surge in crime. The latest spin by Democrats is that the murder rate is higher in red states than in blue states. What they won’t say is that in each of the high crime areas, with the exception of Charleston County, South Carolina, in each of those states, the city areas and the DAs are democrats.
When it comes to the international landscape, is the United States more powerful today? Have we increased our influence throughout the world? Do our adversaries fear us more? The answer to all these questions is no. Afghanistan was a catastrophic disaster. It’s not to say we should have stayed, but the withdrawal was not only an embarrassment, but it also had a real consequential impact on the global community and emboldened our adversaries. And after 20 years of war, nearly $2 trillion was invested, over 20,000 soldiers being injured and maimed, as well as 2,500 soldiers dying, who were held accountable. Oh, that’s right. Not a single person was held accountable, even though they lied to the American people for nearly 20 years. The only person held accountable was Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller because he had the nerve to call out the failure of our military leadership. Our foreign policy is a disaster. Our adversaries continue to push the envelope because they have no fear or respect for this administration. Those who have accused Republicans of being warmongers openly embrace WWIII and a potential nuclear war with Russia. Now they are attacking Kevin McCarthy because he said that they will look closely at what support they’ve provided to the Ukraine if Republicans win the midterm elections.
When it comes to the Constitution, these are the same people who routinely disregard one of the guiding documents of this country. They ignore the checks and balances. They want to continue empowering the government at the expense of the people. They constantly denigrate the United States. They ignore the strides we’ve made. They push to do away with American values. Just look at the entire list of issues I just mentioned. These are failures of epic proportions. When are we going to hold these people accountable, or will we continue to ignore the obvious? Continue to let those who’ve failed us remain in their positions? They should be punished in the midterm elections.
Disaster can strike at any time. Be prepared and know that your family is well fed.

Listen, if you feel like we are moving in the right direction on all those topics I just mentioned, then go ahead and pull the lever for the Democrats in the midterm elections. If you want more of the same, then go ahead and vote for the Democrats in the midterm elections.
But if you are sick and tired of everything that’s going on, consider the alternative. See, if all these things were happening and the Republicans were in power, I would say that I’m done. I’m voting for the other party and hope things improve.
Yet, there are a lot of people that are so ideological that they can’t see what’s right in front of them. They willingly ignore the failures of their own party, and rather than retort anything, they simply say that the other party is worse. They can’t give any real specifics. And listen, the same holds true on the Republican side as well.
But we have to realize that we shouldn’t be beholden to any political party. We shouldn’t be beholden to any one office, or even one person. We should vote based on whether we, as individuals, are in a better position today than before. Whether our country is in a better position than before. Whether we are stronger as a nation or weaker. Those are the things we should be asking ourselves when we go into the voting booths.
Don’t let them divide us. I did an episode two weeks ago about how when it comes to the top issues we are not as divided as they make us out to be. That there is more unity on the issues than they want to admit. The reason they push division is that they don’t have anything else left.
Life has become much more difficult over the last three years, especially since Biden and the Democrats took control. Everything is more expensive, and family budgets are being stretched to the brink. As the economy continues to crater and people’s economic livelihoods are being destroyed, what are Democrats talking about? As our safety continues to be threatened due to the surge in violent crime, what is their solution? As our country and the international community inch closer to WWIII, they simply try to silence anyone that raises questions and label them as a Putin sympathizer.
While they are busy pushing gender and critical race theory to our children, they’ve all but ignored the collapse of the education system where students are unable to recall basic facts or think critically about the issues. The same failed talking points.

This is where you can have your say. And we cannot get cocky and arrogant. We can’t assume that a red wave is all but guaranteed. The candidates need to make it as if they are 4 to 5 points down. We need to have a massive turnout to make up for any shenanigans. We no longer have any excuses, and the people of the United States will have the greatest impact on the future direction of this country during this election cycle.
