Trump Derangement Syndrome Escalates As Election Day Draws Near
Rant or Rave Wednesday
With election day less than a week away, people’s emotions are running high. Trump is outperforming all the polls compared to previous election cycles; however, given that anything can happen, and the Democrats are willing to go to extraordinary lengths to prevent a Trump victory, it would be foolish to assume that he’s got it wrapped up.
The best way to gauge how the presidential candidates are faring is to watch the RealClearPolitics poll, which utilizes the average of numerous polls to take into account potential biases or issues of any one individual poll. As of October 26th, Trump is leading nationally by 0.1 points. Now, we keep hearing about how the polls in this election have a razor-thin margin but let me put this into perspective for you. At this point during the last two election cycles, Trump was losing nationally to Biden by 7.4 points and was losing to Clinton by 5.6 points. Keep in mind that he tends to generally underperform in the polls compared to actual election numbers. So, it is possible that President Trump could win the popular vote. This would be a huge feat as the last Republican to win the popular vote was George W. Bush 20 years ago.
I’d like to provide you with a few more of the aggregate polls of battleground states and compare them to the last two election cycles. As of October 27th, Trump is up 0.6 points in Pennsylvania over Harris, where Biden was up 3.8 points at the same time in 2020 and Clinton was 5 points ahead in 2016. In Michigan, Trump is ahead by 0.2 points, but back in 2020, Biden was winning by 9 points, and in 2016 Clinton was winning by 7 points. The remainder of the swing states have similar stats. Given this information, a Trump win seems promising, but it is crucial that the American electorate not become complacent.
The short-lived ‘joy’ of Kamala Harris’ campaign has morphed into an ugly and vicious crusade of name calling, meltdowns, and unwarranted comparisons of Trump and his supporters to Hitler and the Third Reich. The Democrat machine will stop at nothing to prevent Trump from getting into the Oval Office a second time. Despite two attempts on Donald Trump’s life – one where he was actually shot in the face, the harsh rhetoric continues.
Kamala and her campaign claim Donald Trump will be a dictator, yet it was the left who imposed totalitarian decrees during COVID. People lost their jobs and livelihoods if they didn’t get injected with a medicine that has since proved to be mostly ineffective and whose safety is still questionable. It was the left who forced the American people, including toddlers and special needs individuals, to wear useless and suffocating masks. It was the left who told young children that if they didn’t stay home from school they’d kill grandma. It was the left who kept churches and gyms closed and forced people to stay inside. It was Harris’ running mate, Governor Waltz who set up a hotline that allowed residents of Minnesota to snitch on neighbors for violating Covid lockdowns. It is the left who wants to take power from the people and centralize it to the government. Trump’s agenda is to return power to states and local municipalities, and ultimately the people.
Celebrities are posting themselves melting down on social media, threatening that our democracy is at stake. No, all you rich elitists, Donald Trump does not threaten our democracy. Anointing Kamala Harris the democratic nominee without a single primary vote threatens our democracy. Keeping our borders wide open and allowing millions of unvetted people from across the globe into our country threatens our democracy. Trying to usurp power from individual companies by promoting socialist policies like price gouging threatens our democracy. Promising to pack the Supreme Court, which undermines checks and balances, threatens our democracy. Not being able to answer a single substantive question from the press on behalf of the American voter threatens our democracy.
Kamala Harris and the left have a serious case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. They have the gall to accuse Trump of being a threat to democracy. It is unnerving and the American people have had enough. If everything remains fair and there is no election interference, it is very possible that Trump will return to the White House to repair the damage the crazed leftists have inflicted upon our nation in four short years.
