When it comes to politics, there is no shortage of topics. There is always something going on, but now it feels like so much is happening so quickly that it’s hard to cover everything. We are living through a period that will usher in profound change, and as of now, none of it is a good thing.
It’s hard to predict where it all goes, but the challenges we face are monumental. On one hand, you can argue that it has taken decades to get to this point. On the other hand, it seems like everything is happening so rapidly that it makes it difficult to absorb the scope of what we are facing.
But one thing is certain, we are on the potential verge of a WWIII at the worst possible time with the worst possible person as the Commander in Chief.
What is so frustrating is that everything we are witnessing was largely avoidable. It is not like we are a victim of circumstances out of our control. It was always in our control, and that is what makes it so infuriating. We are witnessing a bunch of self-inflicted wounds – whether intentional or unintentional is a different story.
Look at every single metric. We are worse off than we have been in a long time. Our education system has completely collapsed. Our infrastructure is falling apart despite the $1 trillion infrastructure bill that this President pushed through even though it really didn’t go toward infrastructure.
Inflation is rampant. Since Biden took office, food and energy costs are up by around 30%, and depending on the product, they can be even higher. We are spending $1,000 more a month just to live the same lifestyle we had pre-Biden administration. I don’t know about you, but I don’t have an extra $1,000 a month, and so like most American families, my family and I have had to sacrifice and make cuts.
I am making more money than I ever did before, but in reality, I am making less in the Biden economy thanks to Bidenomics. But we’re told that the economy is great. That Bidenomics works, and we are just too dumb to realize it. Credit debt is at the highest levels ever. Defaults are surging because people can’t make the minimum payments. Mortgage defaults are also rising at a rapid clip. The commercial real estate industry is on the verge of collapse.
You’re supposed to pretend your household finances don’t exist. That everything is great. And if an all-out war does break out in the Middle East, it is going to be a disaster, especially when it comes to energy prices.
The open border. Again, preventable. However, this administration and a large part of the Democrat party don’t care. They don’t want to close the border. Congresswoman AOC said we don’t have a border problem. That we have a legalization problem, and if we just legalize everyone and grant citizenship, the problem is solved. Why do we elect some of the dumbest people into office? Truly amazing.
In New York, Governor Hochul and the Democrats just hammered out the New York State budget that allots $2 billion taxpayer dollars to house, feed, transport, and provide debit cards and healthcare to illegal immigrants. $2 billion. New York State is a disaster. People are suffering. We pay extraordinary taxes, especially property taxes, if we took that $2 billion, how much would we be able to lower property taxes for ordinary, middle-class homeowners? But they don’t care.
Remember, when Trump was first elected and the crazies went ballistic warning that Trump was going to start a nuclear war? Remember when President Biden was elected, and these same fools were claiming the adults were back in charge? That the world can respect us again.
Let’s be honest, there is not a single foreign leader who respects or fears the current President. Some of our European allies may like this President more than the last, but they don’t respect him either. They know they can walk all over him.
Against this backdrop, the commencement of the Trump trial in NYC underscores the Democrats’ prioritization of political vendettas over effective governance, further entrenching the nation in turmoil.
I will talk about it all when we get back from this quick break so hang tight, and we will be right back.
