Mysterious Drone Phenomenon
Today, we’re talking about the mysterious drone phenomenon that’s been unfolding over New Jersey and New York. If you’ve been paying attention to the news, you’ve probably seen the blurry videos and heard the vague statements from government officials. But what’s really going on here? And more importantly, why aren’t we getting any straight answers?
While the government and the media loves to label everyone a conspiracy theorist, understand that this isn’t a conspiracy. We’re dealing with real events, verified sightings, and, quite frankly, a concerning lack of transparency from our government. And given this administration’s track record, just think how Biden and company haven’t exactly been models of accountability and transparency over the years, the lack of answers is feeding the speculation. It’s not just about what’s happening now; it’s about a pattern of evasion that we’ve seen time and again. And when the government leaves a vacuum of information, speculation rushes in to fill the void.
Here’s what we know so far. Over the past few weeks, residents in New Jersey and New York have been spotting large drones – some say as big as small planes – flying in formations, often at night. These aren’t the kind of drones you’d see at your local park. No, these are high-tech, high-capacity drones, the kind that screams military, corporate, or foreign entity. And yet, the Biden administration, led by DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, has done little more than offer vague reassurances. No details. No transparency. Just the usual government-speak. Remember, this is the guy who still claims that the border has been secure under this administration.
But I want to play a clip for you. It’s from a leading drone manufacturer who highlights why these nighttime flights raise red flags.
Sound Clip: Drone Manufacturer’s Comments
He makes a solid point. If you’re flying drones at night, you’re not delivering Amazon packages or capturing scenic footage for Instagram. You’re gathering intelligence, searching for something, or conducting some kind of high-stakes operation. The question is: whose operation? And for what purpose? The idea that this could all be above board doesn’t add up.
Secretary Mayorkas assures us everything is legal, but his lack of specifics only fuels the skepticism. Why not tell us outright if this is a sanctioned activity? If it’s law enforcement, say which agencies are involved. If it’s commercial, tell us which company is behind it. But instead, we get boilerplate reassurances and little else. And when you consider the administration’s track record on issues like Afghanistan, the border crisis, or even inflation, this lack of clarity feels all too familiar. It’s the same pattern of dodging and deflecting, and frankly, people are fed up.
Let’s talk about the broader issue here – public trust. Why should people believe what the government says when they’ve been let down time and time again? This isn’t just about drones; it’s about a government that seems incapable of being upfront with its citizens. Theories are already swirling. Some believe these drones are part of a military exercise or experiment. Others think they’re looking for something specific, like radioactive material. Still, others are raising concerns about foreign surveillance. The lack of clear answers only makes these theories more plausible in the public’s mind.
And then there’s the technology itself. These aren’t your neighbor’s hobby drones. We’re talking about sophisticated, large-scale drones with capabilities far beyond what the average person could even purchase. So, who’s flying them if they’re being used for commercial purposes? What company would need drones this advanced, and why would they be operating them at night over heavily populated areas? The idea that hobbyists are behind this is laughable. Hobbyists aren’t flying drones this big, this late, or in these patterns.
Let’s go a step further. Where are the FAA manifests if this is some kind of government-sanctioned activity? Why haven’t they been released? Public airspace belongs to all of us, and the FAA keeps records of who’s flying what and where. If everything is legal and above board, as Mayorkas claims, then why not release those records? The refusal to do so only makes people more suspicious. It’s a simple step that could go a long way toward easing public concerns, but instead, the silence is deafening.
The fact is that we deserve answers, and until we get them, the speculation will only grow. But in the next segment, I want to dig into the government’s contradictory statements and the broader implications. So everyone, hang tight, and we will be right back.

Government Responses and Contradictions to the Drone Sightings
Welcome back to The P.A.S. Report Podcast. In this segment, I want to focus on the government’s response—or lack thereof. DHS Secretary Mayorkas has been the administration’s point man on this issue, and let me tell you, his statements have been less than reassuring. Let’s play the clip of him addressing these incidents.
Sound Clip: Mayorkas’ Comments
Did you catch that? “The drones are being used legally.” But who’s using them? For what purpose? And what exactly are they doing flying over densely populated areas in the middle of the night? These are basic questions, folks, and the fact that we’re not getting answers is troubling.
And it’s not just Mayorkas. Admiral John Kirby from the Department of Defense has also weighed in. In his first statement, he downplayed the whole thing, insisting it’s “nothing to see here.” Let’s roll that clip.
Sound Clip 3: Admiral Kirby’s First Statement
So, according to Kirby, most of these sightings are just manned aircraft. But then—and this is where it gets interesting—he comes out later and says the activity involves “lawful, legal, commercial, and hobbyist drones,” as well as law enforcement operations. Let’s listen to that.
Sound Clip 4: Admiral Kirby’s Second Statement
Are you keeping up with this? Because the story keeps changing. One minute it’s “nothing to see here,” and the next, it’s “lawful and legal” activity. But they still won’t give us the details. If it’s commercial, tell us the name of the company. If it’s law enforcement, what agency? Hobbyists? Give me a break. No hobbyist is flying a drone this large and sophisticated. And if the FAA has a record of who’s flying what, where are the manifests? Release them. It’s public airspace, after all.
This lack of transparency is not just a misstep—it’s a pattern. Time and again, this administration has failed to provide clear, honest answers when the American people deserve them. Whether it’s border security, inflation, or now these drones, the strategy seems to be “say just enough to placate, but never enough to inform.” And that’s unacceptable.
Let’s consider the implications. If these drones are part of a government-sanctioned operation, it raises questions about oversight and accountability. Who approved these activities, and why weren’t local officials looped in? Several state and local officials have already contradicted Mayorkas’ claims that DHS is working closely with them. If the federal government can’t even get its story straight internally, how can we trust them?
On the other hand, if these drones are foreign, then we have an even bigger problem. Foreign entities surveilling American cities is not just a breach of sovereignty—it’s a national security threat. The lack of urgency from the administration would be shocking if it weren’t so typical.
And then there’s the possibility that this is some kind of commercial venture. Again, why the secrecy? If Amazon or another corporation is testing drone delivery systems, that’s fine—just tell us. The absence of transparency only fuels suspicion and undermines public trust. People are right to ask: what are they hiding?
In all these scenarios, the common thread is a lack of accountability. The administration’s refusal to provide clarity not only sows confusion but also erodes public trust. If this is a sanctioned military exercise, then say so. If it’s commercial, be transparent about who is involved. If it’s foreign surveillance, the public deserves to know the steps being taken to address this national security threat. The silence from the administration leaves too much room for speculation, and that’s dangerous in a time when public trust is already at an all-time low.
Moreover, the contradictions from officials like Mayorkas and Kirby only make things worse. One moment, it’s “manned aircraft,” the next, it’s “lawful drones.” Which is it? The lack of a unified message points to either incompetence or deliberate obfuscation, neither of which inspires confidence. Local officials, too, have voiced their frustrations, claiming they’re being kept in the dark. This raises a critical question: how can federal and local authorities collaborate effectively when there’s such a glaring communication gap?
Another troubling aspect is the broader implications for privacy and security. If these drones are corporate, what safeguards are in place to ensure they’re not infringing on citizens’ rights? If they’re foreign, what does this say about our preparedness to counter surveillance threats? These are not trivial concerns. They cut to the heart of what it means to have a government that prioritizes the safety and sovereignty of its people.
And let’s not forget the impact on public perception. When the government avoids straightforward answers, it only encourages wild theories to gain traction. This is not a time for ambiguity. The Biden administration needs to understand that the more opaque they are, the more they invite distrust and division.
Now we need to take a quick break, but in the final segment, we’ll dive into what this all means for the future of transparency and national security. Everyone, hang tight, and we will be right back.

The Broader Implications of the Drone Controversy
Welcome back, everyone. So, what does this drone phenomenon tell us about the current state of our government, our national security, and, most importantly, the trust—or lack thereof—between the people and their leaders? Let’s dive into the bigger picture because this isn’t just about mysterious drones over New Jersey and New York. This is a story about transparency, accountability, and the erosion of public confidence.
Let’s start with the basics. The federal government exists to protect its citizens and maintain transparency, especially when it comes to public safety and national security. Yet here we are, weeks into this situation, with more questions than answers. The lack of clear communication only breeds distrust. When people see drones flying in formation at night—large drones that look nothing like what hobbyists would use—and the government offers nothing but vague assurances, the natural reaction is skepticism.
Think about it. We’ve seen this pattern before. Whether it’s the mishandling of crises like Afghanistan, the inconsistent messaging on the border, or now these drones, the Biden administration has repeatedly failed to communicate effectively with the public. And every time they dodge or deflect, they weaken the bond of trust between the government and the governed. That bond is what holds our republic together, and without it, we’re in trouble.
Now, let’s talk about the implications. If these drones are part of a domestic operation—be it military, law enforcement, or corporate—why not say so? If it’s military, is this an exercise to prepare for something bigger? Are we testing surveillance technology, or is there a specific threat we’re trying to mitigate? If it’s corporate, what company has the capability to deploy such advanced drones, and why are they operating them over residential areas? And if it’s law enforcement, why the secrecy? The lack of clarity only invites wild speculation, and that’s dangerous in a time when conspiracy theories can spread like wildfire.
On the flip side, if these drones belong to a foreign entity, then we’ve got an even bigger problem. Foreign surveillance over American soil isn’t just a violation of our sovereignty; it’s a glaring national security failure. The fact that the administration hasn’t categorically ruled out this possibility—or outlined any steps being taken to investigate—is deeply troubling.
This situation also raises broader questions about the future of privacy and surveillance. What does it mean for ordinary Americans when drones like these can fly undetected or unaccounted for in our airspace? We’re entering an era where technology outpaces regulation, and without transparency, it’s the public that pays the price—whether in terms of privacy, safety, or peace of mind.
And let’s not forget the ripple effect on public perception. When the government fails to provide clear answers, it undermines its own credibility. People start to wonder: if they’re not telling us the truth about drones, what else are they hiding? This isn’t just about drones; it’s about a larger pattern of behavior—a refusal to level with the American people.
So, what needs to happen next? First and foremost, the FAA, DHS, and DOD need to step up. Release the FAA manifests. Tell us who’s flying these drones and why. If it’s sensitive military activity, fine—but at least confirm that and put people’s minds at ease. If it’s corporate, disclose which company is involved and what they’re testing. And if it’s foreign, we need to know what’s being done to stop it.
The American people deserve answers, not spin. The more the government avoids addressing this issue head-on, the more they invite distrust. And at a time when public faith in institutions is already shaky, the last thing we need is another reason to doubt their competence.
As we wrap up, remember this: transparency isn’t just a buzzword. It’s a cornerstone of democracy. Without it, we’re left in the dark—literally and figuratively. Thanks for tuning in to The P.A.S.
